Had a number of repairs to have done and used him after he was referred. Started out well and claims to guarantee his work but got angry if asked to fix anything he failed to repair. After paying a lot of money to repair roof leaks we called him. He came and took down ceiling panels, told my husband to find where water was coming in and within minutes of leaving sent another bill for coming over and taking ceiling down and refused to fix anything.. the last work he did (siding) we had to pay someone to completely redo after buying new materials. Always ask a contractor to see his wallet card (license) and proof of insurance and bonding. Just because they claim to be licensed, insured and bonded doesn't mean it's true. Don't pay upfront money for work not performed and inspect carefully before payment. After, paying again to fix his mess, I hope this review helps other to not make the same mistakes I made! read more

I had a half complete garage in closed. Shawn came in and finished putting up the remaining Sheetrock. In doing this he found that the Sheetrock in the ceiling was drooping b/c it wasn't hung correctly. He fixed this additional problem. Did the work in a timely manner and came in under original quoted price!! Very professional. Removed debris from the from doing this project. Have more projects that he will be doing for me. Next kitchen counter tops. Excited to see him complete the idea I have planned. read more

SE restoration does not stand by their work and honor their warranty. It's going on 3 months of…read moregoing back and fourth with them about fixing their poor work done 4 years ago. I have been calling/texting them or their contractors daily for almost 3 months. Since initially calling they have closed their local office, I've been referred to people that never answer the phone or call back, the guy that they did finally assign to my case suddenly telling me that he no longer works for SE and stops responding to me, texts and emails going unanswered. The contractor that they sent out described to me a 4 day job to repair all the issues. SE only approved a minimal repair that took less than an hour. SE is denying that they ever did some of the work accusing me of hiring another company. I told them to contact the project manager or the contractor that did the work 4 years ago to confirm the work, but they refuse to do so. Probably because they also no longer work for the company. I have escalated my concerns to management of SE and they are denying any further repairs. They are not accepting any fault for the work failing. They are trying to claim it's a natural occurrence due to temperatures in my garage. I never had any of these issues before they performed the work. SE should not be referred to do any work! Between the lack of communication, unprofessional workers I've had to deal with, insinuating that I'm lying about the work they completed, my project manager being layed off in the midst of doing my job and having no point of contact, management not calling or emailing me back when they said they would, doing the minimal work possible just to say they're finished with me and closing my file, etc. SE has now shown itself to be a HORRIBLE company to work with and I'm still stuck with this poor work in my garage. No company should see my garage and say this is satisfactory work. This experience was with SE of Macon. They have now closed their office and I've been dealing with the district coordinator. So I can only imagine this work ethic goes across all parts of SE.
