We saw the weaknesses and the strengths of the houses, and indications of when we may need to budget for expenses in the future. We found the radon test quite interesting as the values moved around through the 48 hour test period. Fortunately none of the spikes exceeded limits. That makes us comfortable with our future basement. Although, as an inspector, he couldn't specifically recommend anyone to do repairs he let us know what items on the list could be do-it-yourself and which may require a pro to tackle. Jay informed us that the termite inspection might be two separate fees since there were two houses to inspect on the one property. He would try to see if they would do a single fee for both. Then he apologized that the termite inspectors charged separate fees for each house instead of just a single fee for both. Now that is integrity! I would highly recommend Jay.

We purchased a house from this guy three years ago and have spent the last 3 years fixing all the problems he created with his "do-it-yourself" flip. Now spending over $8,000 to fix siding that was falling off because his "upgrade" was to nail siding directly into foam insulation board instead of doing the job properly! If you are happy with half a job at most then this is your guy! For full disclosure, we reported him to the Virginia Realtor Association and sent pictures and they said we had 'doctored' the pictures and they found no-fault in any of his actions.
