Shot pictures in Feb and when Spring came, refused to upgrade pics with green grass and trees in bloom. He told me a showing when I was out of town was a no show and as a result he never entered my house. Lie. When I returned I found his sales award on my kitchen counter, after that I believed Shawn Tweed to be a liar. After multiple full price deals on the table collapsed because of his lack of negotiating skills, I asked his broker to release me at 5 months in. She assured me she would, then the next day she called saying Shawn wanted me to pay him $750 (for his marketing expenses) to let me out of the contract. So much for keeping her word. I had to suffer through 30 more days to get released. On day 30, I signed with Jim Griffin and in 3 days, he brought me multiple offers, sold my house 8K over asking and all settlement costs paid by buyer. Moral of the story: Hire a legit agent, not an arrogant narcissistic wannabe who will waste 6 months of your life doing a whole lotta nothing. PS Regardless of his lack of expertise, I still gave him nice reviews on 4 different websites. In return, no thank you, I heard he trashed my name to another realtor and in the end he blocked me on FB when I left a compliment on Jim Griffins page for selling my house in 3 days. Therefore, I'm changing my review to how it really is. Shame on you Shawn Tweed

I've spent over 20 years in the military, which meant moving around a lot. Over the past 25 years…read moreI've bought and sold nine different properties, so I've worked with quite a few real estate agents. Without question, Brooke Pennington was the best realtor I've ever had the opportunity to work with. This sale wasn't a typical transaction. It was my late father's home in Tennessee, and I live in Florida. Since it was part of his estate, there were a lot of moving parts and a long list of things that needed to be done before the house could go on the market. I honestly expected it to be a stressful process, but Brooke made it feel manageable from beginning to end. One of the biggest things that stood out was how connected she was. Whenever the house needed something, she had someone she trusted. She recommended great people for landscaping, HVAC work, roofing, and other repairs, and every one of those referrals turned out to be excellent. That alone saved me an incredible amount of time and frustration trying to coordinate everything from another state. She also had a great eye for presentation. She gave me practical suggestions on what to change, what to leave alone, and how to stage the home so it would show its best. Those recommendations clearly made a difference because the house sold quickly and for considerably more than I ever expected. Ironically, she sold it so fast that I found myself scrambling to empty the house. There was still furniture, an attic full of belongings, and a storage shed that all had to be cleared out. Most agents would have wished me luck. Brooke actually showed up and spent her own personal time helping me get everything emptied. That wasn't part of her job, but she did it anyway because she genuinely cared about helping me get to the closing table. What impressed me most was that she never treated me like just another client. She was always available when I had questions, kept me informed throughout the process, and was proactive instead of reactive. I always felt like she was looking out for my best interests. Buying or selling a home can be stressful under normal circumstances. Selling an estate property from another state could have been overwhelming, but Brooke's knowledge, organization, and willingness to go above and beyond made the entire experience much easier than I ever imagined. I've worked with a lot of realtors over the years, and I don't make recommendations lightly. Brooke earned mine. If I ever needed to buy or sell another home in her area, I wouldn't hesitate to call her again, and I would recommend her to friends and family without reservation.
