Scott Goldstien reached out first thing Monday, and made an appointment to meet us at the facility on Thursday (the soonest we could get there). Our friend retained him at that meeting, and Scott is sorting through the issues, involving several states. The fees seem reasonable, given the complexity of services required. Scott is addressing them with good priorities and a realistic approach. I am confident that our friend is in good hands.

Dedicated and Knowledgeable Real Estate Attorney…read more Working with Scott on my sale and home purchase was a great experience, even though the process took longer than we all would have liked. There were a few unexpected bumps along the way, but Scott and his assistant Stacey handled everything with patience, true professionalism, and expertise. Scott took the time to explain every step, kept us informed throughout the delays, and worked diligently to resolve any issues that arose. Despite the challenges, he ensured that every document was in order and that my best interests were always the priority. While the process wasn't as quick as we had hoped, I truly appreciate Scott's commitment to seeing it through smoothly. Oh and we also got a bottle of wine to celebrate the closings. Since the first day I spoke with Anthony Vignier, he has been hands down extraordinary. As a…read morefirst-time homeowner, I had no idea what I was doing. Regardless of how much online studies I've done and first-time homeowner classes I took, the home purchasing is both confusing and complex. It took me over a year to finally find a house and close on it and Anthony was there the whole time. He was patient, kind, tough, and never told me that my questions were either silly or dumb. This is the kind of individual you need in your corner. I cannot count how many deals he saved me from taking which would have probably bankrupted me. A good attorney helps you close on a deal, a great attorney helps you avoid a bad deal. Anthony did this time and time again. He was the voice of reason when my real estate agent and bank both where pressuring me to just move on with a deal that was not good for me. There is a reason why Anthony is a part of the District VI Ethics Committee of New Jersey, has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, and a host of other accolades. Ask him about his achievements and he will always downplay his brilliance because he is that good of a human being and is passionate about his work. I can go on and on but to simply put it, Anthony Vignier is a phenomenal lawyer and even better human being. I highly recommend his services and implore anybody looking to purchase a house, at least have a consultation with him. He is that good.

This firm was recommended to us by another attorney who was unable to assist us because our real…read moreestate issue was outside his area of expertise. We met with Alix Claps and thought the meeting went well. We had a plan coming away from our discussion. We waited the first 3 weeks for her to look into additional documentation that could be helpful, and were advised it would take 2-3 weeks for the first step of her obtaining additional information. It took exactly 3 weeks and she waited until Friday at the close of business to send it. The email she sent with information she collected wasn't incredibly helpful in moving things along, and nothing in her reply mentioned what the next steps would be, just a "here's what I found" message. I replied the same day asking for clarification as to what do we do now? She has essentially wasted over a month of our time and proceeded to ghost us following my email with questions. After 11 days waiting for a reply, we will not be working with this firm. After sending a final email to her today to inform her of this, she decided that the best way to reply was to say: "I'm sorry you feel that way. I have been in Court almost continuously since I sent you the documents on April 10. Since nothing in your matter appeared to be urgent at the time, my response was delayed." At no point did she relay to us that her busy schedule would mean we wouldn't know when we would hear from her. Her final communication came across as rude and arrogant, without a genuine apology, and making excuses as to why she couldn't send a quick email back to us, highlighting how her time is much more important than potential clients who have no idea what is happening in the process or what timeline we are now working on. Trying to work with her turned out to be a giant waste of time with virtually no follow through, but magically she can answer promptly when called out on her lack of courtesy, professionalism, and communication. If you don't have time for a client's case, an ethical attorney should disclose that. At no point were we told our potential case was so unimportant it would be thrown to the bottom of a pile somewhere with zero updates. Interesting to see that during the nearly two weeks we waited for her to reply, she had plenty of time to make and post daily video episodes about legal topics on the firm's Facebook page. Too busy to be bothered with "non urgent" client emails though. I think waiting 11 days for a simple email reply or acknowledgment is more than patient, Alix. If you need an attorney who has strong communication, demonstrates professionalism, and doesn't leave you wondering what is going on with your case I do not recommend this firm.
