My life has been stunted by my mental health challenges for a decade. I have done the traditional treatments of meds meds and more meds, therapy, EMDR, Rolfing, rebirthing, acupuncture, pretty much any treatment to get my life back. From the beginning consultations at Klearmind I experienced nothing besides extreme professionalism, empathy and a good explanation of the IV service. It's almost hard to put into words my experience with the IV treatment. I laughed. Hard. For the first time in years. I didn't have any pain for the afternoon. I was able to find my spirit again and my spirit found joy. If you have been stuck in your head, stuck in depression, you should definitely consider ketamine therapy. I got to be pain free, full of joy and laughter, out of the cycle of misery in my head. The treatment is worth every penny.

Robert Smith changed my life…read more I ran across Robert Smith when I listened to him do mental coaching as a guest speaker at our local high school. He was speaking to the football team about techniques for improving the mental game. He was spot on and had a direct and positive impact on our team. I decided to try going to him for help with my life long "eating" disorder. I tried multiple therapists and in-network Kaiser sponsored people and it was one dismal failure after another. I was not hopeful that anyone could give me the tools needed to aid me in the battle I had with myself for control. He gave me an amazing tool set and it was simple! It is also incredibly effective at helping me stay on top of my behaviors. It is no lie when I tell you that he changed my life. He is thoughtful, calm, and speaks clearly. His office is clean and light, and conducive to you absorbing the information he is giving. His process requires some interaction from both of you but if you continue to use the best practices he recommends and teaches you, you will be better in 3 or 4 sessions. I absolutely and whole-heartedly recommend Becoming Whole Therapy. Especially if you have tried traditional interventions, either medical or pharmacological.

She makes me see that life is beautiful and although it is filled with countless challenges, there are always priceless lessons to be learned and to feel grateful for. Joy does NOT have the ability to do your work for you and lastly Joy does NOT by any means sell herself short on the services that she provides. Joy, you are an absolute god send. Seriously.... I have been thru various counseling all of my life but that didn't resolve my issues nor did it really give me the tools needed to actually resolve them. So since I had tried that previously and pretty much got the same result, I knew I had to try something different. So, what did I do? I went to my trusty yelp and reached out and received several responses. I had a few phone interviews because I needed to find the right person to help me thru some heavy stuff. I liked Joy right off the bat. You can simply tell by the tone in her voice that she is an angel. I signed up for 6 sessions with Joy...and after my 6th session, I signed up for 6 more. And I threw Joy some crazy challenges (nothing in my life has EVER been easy)....there were issues that she flat out told me she couldn't do anything about (I appreciate the honestly more than you know) and there were some issues where I really feel like I challenged her but guess what? SHE NEVER GAVE UP ON ME. SHE NEVER TOLD ME SHE COULDN'T WITHOUT AN EXPLANATION (again she doesn't have a magic wand). Instead what I received was far far greater than any gift...Joy gave me the tools I needed to see where my deficiencies came from and also gave me some positive insight as to how to fix the behaviors and this is something I now work on EVERY SINGLE DAY and it's made me a better person. So if you feel like you are stuck, and don't know where to go, and you have tried traditional methods (and they haven't really worked) I would seriously urge you to give Joy a call...set up and appointment and more importantly work on your (O&*%(Q*&)%(.
