They did great in our Church ceremony indoor and outdoors with the pictures before and after. Christina and Richard are both such lovely people and go out of their way to know each and every member of the wedding party BY NAME!! This helps more than you would expect in pictures and to help with positioning. They were very reasonable with the time it took to get the pictures edited and back to us. The pictures were great quality and very well edited as well. Absolutely would recommend them. They are very professional and have lots of experience.

It's been about 7 years since we have had any family pictures, and I figured it was time to get…read moresome done. We had the pleasure of working with Edward Dasso a few weeks back and we couldn't be happier with the end results. I reached out to Edward and explained that we would like some family pictures with that fall feeling. He nailed it! We went out to where he shoots, and knew that this was going to be exactly what we wanted. Fields, falling leaves, fall colors, trees, mountains, YES! Perfect! Even though it was 45 degrees out, Edward was kind enough to build a fire so we could warm up between changing clothes and sessions. He certainly didn't have to, but it was nice that he did. We appreciated it! Edward was helpful in the sense of figuring out specific poses and ideas for the pics. For example, throwing leaves up in the air, poses with the kids, positioning us to capture the colors, lighting, etc... The quality of the pictures turned out wonderful. We shot for 1 hour, received numerous pictures, and the price was more than fair. I'm not sure if his rates change based on season/session/location, so I'm not quoting what he charged us. Feel free to reach out to him for pricing. Please check out his website. He does great at capturing the moment and providing some memories you and your family will enjoy.

It was quite an interesting experience, loved the studio and she had decent options for the…read morepictures and backgrounds and such. We booked long in advance of course and as luck had it our son was a little bit sick when he arrived... Peggy acted as though he was deathly ill, asked him to sit in a specific spot, rushed us along to do the shoot. We didn't bring many changes of clothing or anything, but to my knowledge we were paying for an hour of her time for all of this process. She RUSHED to get the pictures of my son done, the way she was acting you'd seriously think he was dying. One of the nicer touches was she offered to touch up my wife's make up and had handy things around to make sure the girls looked beautiful. The downside of the make up touch was my wife showed her during that process that her teeth aren't that great, to which it got brought up multiple times during the actual photo sessions "No one wants to show teeth huh!?" No, sorry. When I mentioned I didn't have front teeth she kinda just talked over me, which ties into what I brought up earlier, the rushing. We were there for a total of 35 minutes. During the clothing change of the girls, my wife sat in the area she designated my son to sit previously, to which she was kinda snapped at and told "That's my chair, there's other seating over here." Which is very confusing, but lead to her later emailing saying "These things happen, I am now sick." obviously blaming the illness on my son. Weird she was the only one this sickness passed to. I do like some of the pictures, well.. Like five of them. Out of I believe she said 142? I believe this is mostly because she just rushed us, and I really didn't like that one bit. The ONE family photo we got, which is what I personally REALLY wanted, my son is standing off away from the rest of the family.

The most important vendor for us while planning our wedding was selecting a photographer. With all…read moreof the time, effort and money put towards our big day, we wanted to be sure we selected a photographer that we trusted to document the evening for us. We completely lucked out with Jayme and Russ. From the beginning, we were awed by their portfolio. Their photography captures its occupants in their natural state, where the emotions and expressions are both pure and raw - which is what we were looking for. They know how to artfully position themselves to capture the best angles for their work. After reaching out to them, the second perk we discovered is that they are a husband and wife team who can work together and capture the same moments from different angles. Their skills individually are exceptional and we were ecstatic to get have two high-caliber photographers for our day. We primarily communicated via email/phone and had all the details worked out prior to the wedding. Once the big day arrived, Jayme and Russ knew the schedule but were still great just going with the flow. I took about an hour longer getting ready than we expected - oh well :) Throughout the day and evening, they were always there but never intrusive, demanding or in the way. When the photos were ready to view, we were again blown away. They did an outstanding job of capturing our day. I cannot give them enough praise. The way they created our album tells a complete story from front to back. We will reach out to them for any photoshoots we may have in the future. Our photos were also picked up by Eugene Weddings magazine and they did a little story featuring us. This was a fun bonus after all of the preparation that went into planning the day.

So I came here and was shocked at what I found. Allow me to set the record straight, if you're looking for a photographer who will: + Go above and beyond to capture moments that last a lifetime + Think outside the box to deliver images that are imaginative and unique + Work hard--even when the venue is working against him (we had rain)--to make photos that shouldn't be possible, possible Then look no further, Mark Longstreet is the photographer for you. Most folks only write reviews when they're angry because something didn't go according to plan. It is a special day and I was sorry to read about the other bad experiences here but all I can speak to is the experience we had, which was beyond excellent.
