We completely lucked out with Jayme and Russ. From the beginning, we were awed by their portfolio. Their photography captures its occupants in their natural state, where the emotions and expressions are both pure and raw - which is what we were looking for. They know how to artfully position themselves to capture the best angles for their work. After reaching out to them, the second perk we discovered is that they are a husband and wife team who can work together and capture the same moments from different angles. Their skills individually are exceptional and we were ecstatic to get have two high-caliber photographers for our day. We primarily communicated via email/phone and had all the details worked out prior to the wedding. Once the big day arrived, Jayme and Russ knew the schedule but were still great just going with the flow. I took about an hour longer getting ready than we expected - oh well :) Throughout the day and evening, they were always there but never intrusive, demanding or in the way. When the photos were ready to view, we were again blown away. They did an outstanding job of capturing our day. Leanna was amazing to work with from the beginning. Above all, she was communicative, kind, fun, and helpful. We first did our engagement shoot with her, and she took us to the most amazing waterfall near Mt. Hood, which was not only out of the way for her, but also took most of an afternoon between doing the short hike and stopping for photos. This was a great experience for us, in spite of us not used to being photographed. Leanna did an amazing job directing us and being patient when we inevitably failed to follow through.
