Was looking to buy an RV from Sundance RV and when I told them I wanted to get a full vehicle…read moreinspection they recommended Hudson Car Care. They drove the RV over. Hudson did a full $150 inspection. They told me they found nothing wrong with the RV and would drive across country in it. Great RV. Well, with that bill of health I purchased the RV at asking price. Fast forward. I have the rig and take it to my very trusted reliable auto shop to take a look at why my tires are different sizes. They did a full inspection of the rig and massive issues. Bent and broken axle, broken suspension bags, the list goes on. Items I asked Hudson to specifically check that they said were good. Nope. Obviously they're in league with Sundance. Crooks. I wish I could foot them with the bill. Disappointed. Disgusted.

I'm an easy target. A woman who knows nothing about cars. New to the area. Luckily, someone…read morereferred me to Hudson Car Care. I called and left a message about my 2012 Toyota Corolla LE. When I turned my key it wouldn't "bounce back". So, it was making the starting sound, but it wasn't ever catching and starting. (See? No idea what I'm talking about!) Keith Hine called me back. He was patient with me on the phone, asking a lot of probing questions. Beginning with the battery, which was in working order. Keith theorized that it might be the starter switch. But, they wouldn't know until I brought my car in. I brought my car in expecting to pay hundreds of dollars for parts and labor. But, before they began anything diagnostic on my starter, Keith had my battery checked. ... I though this was weird, because it was working "just fine". Or, so I thought. Hudson Car Care found that the side of my battery was bulging! They charged me a fair price for a new, quality battery, installed it for free, and sent me on my way. (Noting, of course, that if I had any other problems with starting the car to come back.) It's been several months and my car still starts like a charm! Thank you, Hudson Car Care for your honesty, integrity, and friendly, knowledgable, and helpful service. You saved me hundreds of dollars, earning my trust and future business.

I needed quite a bit of work done to my beater. I had been to Dave's a couple of times before with…read moredifferent vehicles and was impressed with how low his prices were compared to his local competitors. He cut me some slack on the labor price since I was a repeat customer and he let me go into the shop so that he could show me what needed to be replaced and answered all of my questions without any hint of condescension which I have experienced in other shops. Dave treated me as more than just a customer and explained as he wrote up the estimate what he was going to do and where he could also shave off some time from the overall labor cost to me. I thought that this was outstanding that he would do this without me having to haggle about the price. When I got the bill, it was actually lower than he had estimated. Needless to say, I was quite happy with that. After picking up my vehicle and having driven it for about a month now, I am quite impressed. It drives and it feels almost like new although it has over 240000 miles on it. I'm very happy with the overall experience and would recommend this shop to everyone. Dave will treat you well, I can assure you!

He said he added them to my account and that I could use them at any Ram service department with an appointment. Although I live in Shelton, I am doing cancer treatment up in Seattle that requires me to do radiation Monday through Friday. The Seattle Ram service department did not have any openings. So I made an appointment at the Shelton Washington service center. I drove from Seattle to Shelton. Upon arrival I was greeted by the service manager "Tommy". I arrived at 3:15 and he indicated that it was "too late" to do the oil change. I told him my appointment was at 3:30. He said "ok.. we'll it's just gonna take longer." Then he said that he didn't want to do the oil change because I had two dogs in the back. He said, " I have never done an oils change with dogs in the vehicle. This was humorous as I see dogs in vehicles at jiffy lube all the time. But I respect that some people have fears, so made it clear that they were locked behind the pocket door. My gut was telling me that he did not want to do the oil change and was saying whatever he could to make me turn away. I told him I drove from Seattle for this oil change and it's needed. He then stated that he did not see the free oil changes in the computer. I showed him my verification email from Ram reflecting the oil changes. He said, "the e-mail could have come from anybody." He refused to do the oil change unless I wanted to pay a hundred bucks. I have empathy for it being a Saturday after a long work week, I've been there. BUT, if I had a customer I sucked it up and provided quality customer service like an professional adult. This was a complete waste of my time, money (gas) and energy (exhausted from cancer treatment. They verified my information when I made the appointment and I made it clear that it was FREE. Car dealerships are really great at selling you cars with all the warranty promised but SUCK at honoring these promises. It's called being UNETHICAL. None of the other Ram Service departments from Portland to Seattle get good reviews. So add this one to the list.
