What a cute little spot in O'Fallon…read more I will say the employee that we had the day that we came in wasn't really helpful. She kept going to the back so she wasn't present at the front desk and when I did find her, she wasn't really helpful when we were trying to do certain things to the pottery. However, it's more of a do-it-yourself kind of place so I understand. Just wish the staff was more helpful since they're more knowledgeable than I am. There was so many different things to choose from. We ended up getting a cookie jar and making it for My Husband for Father's Day. We also got a Father's Day present for my daughter's father. We were in and out within 30 minutes to an hour. There's so many different pain colors, and options for smaller paint areas such as these little bottles to help with that. I took my kids who were one and a half, seven, 10, 13 and they all had fun I will definitely be back for another project

I have been coming here since I was a child but now that I am a teenager, I absolutely love coming here and have brought so many friends that also have come to love it. Ive never had anything but positive interactions with any employees and the owner is the sweetest lady. I once picked up my piece and it looked a little lumpy and the paint had some specks on it, I called and they asked me to bring it back and then refired it with no fuss at all. After that it was perfect. They were very accommodating and I would suggest this place to anyone.

We will definitely be back to make more pottery and hopefully a class!

It started out bad from the moment we arrived. We were completely ignored by the people working…read morethere, so we just stood there waiting for direction. Finally someone sitting at a table told us what to do. After about 15 minutes, one of the people working there came over to us and began giving us directions on how to work with the clay and a few utensils they had to use on the clay. He kept saying, just do whatever you want to do with the clay, and we didn't know what our options were "to do with the clay". When I asked for examples of what we could do, they really had no examples, and he pointed to work that was on the shelves that other people had done. It was very frustrating. We felt like little kids given some play doh. So we were supposed to get a call when our projects were done, no phone call. I finally called and our projects had been done a couple weeks prior. When I went to pick them up, they were on a shelf outside the studio, so I had no interaction with anybody when I went to pick our projects up. I would not suggest anyone go to this studio. They run it like a kids play doh class??

We discovered Michael's did a collab with Johnathan Adler and we wanted to buy EVERYTHING we of course had to keep it cool so we bought a few pieces of art, a towel, and maybe more napkins than we'll ever need but they were just so cool looking we had to.

Anyway, the part of this trip that could have been better? When I got to the check out, my item rang up incorrectly and the cashier called someone to help. I told the person where the item was and about the 3 signs giving me a cost different than the ring up price. Well, that person came back with a totally different item and said that was the one on sale. Nope. So I decided to pay the extra $2.50, not the end of the world, I realize this, but I was terribly unhappy about how the person handled it. After I paid for my purchase I went back into the store and pulled one of the sale price labels from the shelf and took it back to them at the checkout and left. I will be using maybe Hobby Lobby from now on. No thanks to people who don't know what they're doing, but try to convince you they do. IMO, that store was was advertising different pric3s than what was being charged. I'd call that false advertisement.
