Then when we arrived she gave us a private tour of our darling, clean, comfortable cabin. She was just as friendly and lovely in person. There wasn't a thing missing in this cabin. The game room and other outdoor games were highly entertaining for kids and adults. The outdoor barbecue and community dining area are big and very functional for small or larger groups. The trash is emptied frequently and they supply large bags of ice on demand. I honestly can't wait to return to this little slice of heaven. The sad thing is that the lake is super low for people hoping to boat.

First, let me say that the cottages are extremely outdated and have a musty smell and black mold,…read morewas found around all the windows and parts of the ceiling When we arrived, there was a leak in our cabin and they had towels laid out to catch the water The game room amenities were dilapidated, and the deck leading out from the game room is a death trap with nails protruding out of 90% of the boards seeing is how you could not go out there they had a sign displayed however the only thing to keep people from actually going out there was a 4 inch piece of 2 x 4 that was sitting in the sliding glass door track Every basketball in the basketball court was completely flat. The pool was green with algae. And the cottage itself felt completely rundown When asked if they had another cabin, they said they were completely booked. We had saved up just for this weekend and the owner was out of town. We had already put $2000 into the weekend just for the cottage. We had asked the owner for reimbursement and we weren't asking for the whole thing but just to be pragmatic. Her response was we should've left and unfortunately that would've left us without a place to stay. The only good thing about the cottages was Marty the property manager and the stove which looked new Everything else felt dated to the early 70s or seen out of cabin in the woods The towels were in a laundry room that we had to go secure ourselves In the laundry room had towels which is to be expected, but the dented pots and pans we were expected to use look like they had just been dropped off from the local Goodwill or hospice store The sad part is the owner lives in an RV that is probably worth $150,000-$200,000 rather than reinvest back into the property they would rather take a trip to Europe Nevertheless it is a guarantee that we will not be going back there and we suggest you look at the place first in person before renting it don't just look at the pictures by the way I I'm only giving it one star because there was nothing less than that
