All I have to say is WOW. I stayed for a week with my fiancé and a few other friends this Fall and couldn't have asked for better accommodations. The living room and back deck look directly over the lake, and we had more than enough room for the 7 of us. We took our patio boat up and had plenty of room to park it and couldn't believe how close the boat launching areas were. Kitchen is fully loaded with all appliances, nothing like feeling at home having the availability to cook all your own meals in a spacious area. Hot tub, full laundry room, fire place, the list goes on. To top it off, I proposed to my now fiancé on the last night of our stay, she said yes! This place is truly special! read more

Absolutely stunning...perfect vacation....#1 the view alone will take your breath away. As I booked my weekend get away I was impressed with owner manager ken very professional and kind he met us at the rental made sure we had everything we needed showed us how to use hot tub stereo and tv. Very disappointed in the property owner. My family booked one of the properties as a vacation rental for a week months in advance of our trip. 1 week out from the trip the wildfires near Lake Shasta (about 10 miles from the property) were still uncontained and the 5 freeway, which is the only way to get to the property, was closed down. With such little time until our trip, we felt we had to book other accommodations as we did not want to put our family near an active wildfire. When we asked the owner for re-booking and refund options he was incredibly uncooperative and would not work with us at all. In fact, he stated the fires were "40 miles away" which is absolutely not true (you can google the "Delta Fire" to see for yourself). Our family spent a lot of money on this vacation and did not see a single dime back. I couldn't be more disappointed, as the owner had no compassion during a dangerous situation and was incredibly slow to respond to any of our inquiries. Too bad 1 star is the lowest you can review! read more

The property was really nice, and the stay was fine, but the owners are shady as hell; we put down a damage deposit before our stay, and now we can't get it back - no response to phone calls, nothing. They're not claiming that we damaged the place, they're just not responding. Having to go to court to get the money back is going to overshadow any fun we had during our stay. read more

Just returned from a 5 day stay at the Lodge View house with my family. The house is spotless, very well stocked and the views are amazing. We had a great time playing on the Lake with our boat and then enjoyed family dinners at the house and many games of foosball! The house was so nice that we all voted to stay put for one whole day just to enjoy the peace and quiet! We look forward to coming back again next year and making it a family tradition! read more
