Where do I begin? To…read moresay my experience with this broker has been frustrating would be an understatement. I was originally enrolled in my health insurance through her back in 2017 by my former partner. After our separation, I needed to explore more affordable options since my financial situation had changed. Naturally, I contacted my insurance provider, Anthem, directly to discuss cancelling or modifying my plan. To my surprise, I was told I could not make changes through them and would need to go through my broker. That's where the difficulty began. When I attempted to contact Ms. Gordon, I was met with a voicemail stating that I needed to provide my credit card information just to speak with her. She would not answer questions via email or text--only through a paid phone consultation. This immediately raised concerns for me. I was trying to cancel my plan and transition to a different provider, Kaiser Permanente, and did not feel comfortable sharing my credit card information in that situation. Given today's environment, I believe it's reasonable to be cautious about providing sensitive financial information--especially when I was not trying to make a payment, but simply cancel a service. Interestingly, my former partner--who originally set up the policy--confirmed he was never required to provide credit card information just to communicate. It seemed that once my intent to cancel became clear, the process became significantly more difficult. Eventually, after I informed her that I had already secured new coverage independently, she reached out to me. During that conversation, she attempted to get me to state that she had enrolled me in the new plan, which I declined. At that point, I had deliberately chosen not to work with a broker due to how complicated the cancellation process had been. To be fair, when I spoke directly with Anthem, they were helpful--until they realized I had originally signed up through a broker. That experience made it clear to me that consumers can enroll directly with insurance providers and may have more control by doing so. In hindsight, it felt as though there was little incentive to assist me in cancelling, especially given that brokers often earn commissions tied to active policies. Whether intentional or not, the process felt unnecessarily obstructive. I'm sharing this experience as a caution to others: if you work through a broker, your insurance provider may direct you back to them for support--even for basic account changes or cancellations. That can create an added layer of difficulty when you're trying to make decisions about your own coverage. As a client for over seven years, I expected clearer communication and more flexibility--especially during a time when I needed to make a change. At the very least, alternative ways to communicate (email, basic support, or a receptionist) would have made a significant difference. Due to this experience, I plan to file a complaint with the California Department of Insurance so the situation can be reviewed.

They are not greedy, and will tell you if they can't beat your current policy, and will even recommend other companies that they are not affiliate with for you to make your own choice. They got me on all fronts, car, motorcycle, house and whatever else you need! I've been going here for years and the quality of service I receive is alway exceptional to say the very least. I wouldn't go any other place than Ancona! Do yourself a favor and go here and safe yourself a lot of money. When I got into an accident, I didn't know who to call so I call my insurance agent, and she went out of her way to guide me through what exactly I should do and what I should expect. She even went as far as to help me call the insurance company to report the claim, so I wouldn't mess anything up. They are definite pro's and I recommend all of my family and friends to them, and they all get satisfied by the service and savings they receive. I never write reviews, but I thought everyone could use a break and save a little money so go to them ASAP!!!!

Been a customer since 2022 after seeing 5 star reviews on google…read more Let me tell you, I feel like I've been scammed. I live a busy life and having to deal with car insurance is the last thing I want to do so I contacted Keith Insurance Agency due to great reviews for my new 2022 Honda Insight, due to having a DUI from 6 years prior and one texting and driving ticket 3 years prior in I knew the insurance wasn't going to be the cheapest for a new car but they get me an okay deal and all is good. They last sent me a POI card 11/25/23 and then nothing for a whole year, mind you my insurance is only 6months but I've been paying this whole time with no updated POI card so technically driving with expired insurance, when I get a letter stating that my specific insurance company isn't going to insure me anymore due to being in California, so great thats when I finally get an email from Tamari. They get me settled up with another insurance carrier Bridger Insurance and I signed something and never got a copy of what I signed and again no email with POI or access to website so I can get the proof (& holy moly they have the WORST reviews!!!!!! and an F rating on the BBB Yippee!!) Like I said I figured I missed the email with the updated POI from May 2024 but when I got the letter stating that they were cancelling I looked and no POI from Tamari or my old insurance. I keep thinking what if I got into an accident during that time.. it makes me sick that I was paying every month with technically no proof of insurance. I feel like I need to take legal action because this isn't right. I'm writing this review to warn others that this is how they treat their clients of 2 1/2 years, they took advantage of me not knowing and they could be doing the same to you.

I was fine with it after some back and forth. Also, I asked if I could come to their office to get my insurance information printed and they said they don't have an office for customers so they would send me the print outs. And their "office" is local to me so I thought it would be quick. A year later, when I was going to cancel my policy, I was assured they would do it. I had already moved on to another insurance company. I then got charged for the insurance company that Keith Insurance took out for me which I had confirmed that was cancelled, which then took my checking account negative which I got overdraft fees I contacted them about this, they apologized, but come to find out, they did nothing. Then I get a negative mark on my credit report, which is months later which I then have to contact the insurance company to clear up. This couple is phoning it in. Literally. Totally unprofessional. Seems to have too many things going that they can't keep track of.
