Note: my dad is…read moredisabled and doesn't navigate online menus well so he calls places to be sure that he understands their prices. Note: We gave this place multiple passes on bad behavior/customer service. I'll never spend another dollar there. So 1st the phone call: While he was talking to the young lady, he had to ask the her several times to be patient with him because she got annoyed with him asking basic questions. Besides, she kept misquoting us and we were Patient with her. Arrival: I get there and she's like we ran out of medium lobster tails so we charged you $5 more for a large lobster tail. So they made that and never said anything until it was time to pay. Again, I let this slide because my dad really wanted this place and I won't be able to get him it tomorrow(actual Father's Day) As I'm getting ready to pay, the young lady tried to charge me and additional $4 because she kept making up that I was paying with ebt. I never said anything about ebt or even debit..I kept saying that I was paying with a credit card then she was like "oh it's only $2 extra" I was like well we called and we weren't notified that there was a different fee if you pay with card. I could've stopped to get cash if I was notified when we asked. Her response was pretty much, "you see the paper right there.... well that's what he wants to charge so..." I reminded her for the 3rd or 4th time that I never been there so these are things that I didn't know before arriving. So here we are at $7 additional dollars for this food that we were unaware of. Sn: during the visit, This girl started rolling her eyes while talking to customers on the phone which definitely confirmed her impatience for our call. After purchasing: I went to the car took my dad his food and told him that I'd never return. So, he called and asked to speak to the manger. The girl left him on hold and then came back and said that there wasn't a manager for him to speak to. No one was in charge there. And she hung up on him while he was speaking. That young lady really created a bad experience in addition to hidden fees and things. As far as, the food.. for the price, quality, and experience was not great. The price point for my catfish and shrimp was not bad but the flavor was not good. The quality wasn't good either. (I'll share a picture of mine) My dad's food was around $53 for a 1 large lobsters tail, 1/2 catfish, 1/2 shrimp with the potatoes, corn and broccoli. I was hoping that food would redeem this experience but it didn't. It's a no return for me. You can literally make better seafood boil at home with a positive experience/no hidden fees/ and lots of flavor for less.

I likewise don't believe that the quality of the food was up to the cost of it. Plus my wife was somewhat disappointed with the menu options. And I didn't see a kids meal menu, but I assume that they have one if children are part of your group. Anyway, the service was very good. The ambiance was equally good. We were seated in an area that despite being a little crowded, we were still able to carry on a conversation ( I usually have to adjust my hearing aids to silence background noise but not here).

On my second visit a year later, I decided to give it another shot--this time opting for the traditional version instead of the smoked one. It was better, but still only average at best. It was also served warm, and the ice melted quickly, suggesting the glass or drink wasn't properly chilled. The martini was also underwhelming--it tasted mostly like juice, with little to no noticeable alcohol. As for the food, the starters were definitely the highlight. The French onion soup was actually very good. However, the main courses didn't live up to expectations. I ordered the steak medium rare, but it came out closer to medium well--overcooked and under-seasoned. The chicken Vesuvio was also disappointing; the sauce tasted like it came from a jar, and neither it nor the rice stood out in any meaningful way. On a positive note, the ambiance was very nice. The lighting created a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Overall, while the setting and service were enjoyable, the food and drinks didn't justify a return visit.

The restaurant represents as a tribute to Chicago, and the price is definitely reflect that. We decided to go there yesterday and sit in the outdoor bar area for my husband's birthday. We got there at the tail end of happy hour and we were able to order one drink each at a reduced price. My husband ordered the Thai chicken bowl and I ordered the buffalo cauliflower bowl. Both dishes were absolutely delicious, as were the drinks. The ambience makes you feel like you are at an Oceanside resort. The presentation of the food was a very pleasing aesthetic. We enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back

Upon arrival we were immediately seated at a high top in the bar area. They had several big screen TVs on playing both sports and news. We came hungry and ordered a good variety of menu items including a few of their seasonal drinks as well as several shared appetizers. My favorite was the chicken eggs rolls. They really stuff them up and there's so much flavor. The dipping sauce is tasty as well. The lobster Rangoon was an accidental order, I asked the waitress how they were and next thing you know they were brought out to the table. I agreed to keep them and did enjoy them. They were a little pricey at $24 but I understand lobster isn't cheap. The bbq chicken pizza was ok but didn't have the bbq sauce flavor I was looking for. Good while hot but nothing I would order again. The side salad was literally just a bowl of lettuce so I wouldn't do that again either. I felt the menu had a lot of good options and choosing what to order was hard. Our server was great and the busser was attentive and helpful as well. I'm excited to have a place like this in the area. The vibey ambience, good service and overall yummy food makes me want to come back again and try more. Tip: they accept inKind which is a plus because I was able to save a little $ on the bill.
