Very friendly and accommodating. Price was fair. My knives are sharper than when they bought new and we were able to wait and take them back. Great way not to keep buying new knives . We will definitely use this business again for our garden tools. please give them a try should you need their services! Eva, Howell, NJ read more

Don't keep using dull knives. It's so simple and inexpensive to have the quiet and skilled man at Sharpening-it. Drop off is easy. Fast service has a $20 fee but a few days avoids the extra rush fee. I'm so happy to have found this service. read more

I used the mobile service just now. Very friendly and informative! BTW, after booking my appointment two weeks ago, just couldn't stand it - I bought a bunch of sharpening stones and a 'strop' and trained on YouTube. I had tried to cancel the appointment but didn't call in time. Which was lucky for me... The sharpening is done; a dangerously bent tip is fixed; and I can go back to my day job. I'm going to use his work as a benchmark for my own efforts when I finally get around to doing it (which, quite possibly, may be never). read more

Knives are kind of like shoes. Everyday use makes them comfortable, but soon they grow dull and worn down. If you don't pay attention to them, they're going to let you down. But you may not realize it until you need them for a big event. So just as you start chopping ingredients for your favorite recipe or attempt the first slice on your special roast, you realize that you have taken your most valuable kitchen tools for granted. We've all been there. So rather than suffering through a repeat performance, and before your next important chopping or slicing activity, take your prized knives down to SHARPENit! You will not be disappointed. There you'll meet the lovely Lexus who will help you with your order, and, if he isn't out on a job somewhere (he makes house calls!), you'll get to meet George, the Wizard of SHARPENit! He knows more about knives and sharpening than I knew there was to know. That guy can sharpen anything with an edge! And let me tell you, when you get your knives back, they will probably be sharper than when you first bought them. George is amazing. So whether you have knives, scissors, or garden tools that are in need of a new edge, take them to SHARPRNit! George will make you wonder why you didn't go there sooner! read more

Service could not of been better!! Post this company name, phone# & address in your book! For Valentines day why not give your honey the gift of great sharp knives or succors! You can look far & wide before you find a business owner that will put your needs first! I have not written a review for anyone in years. I would do it every day for this outfit- they are real class! read more

I heard that George was talented. I brought in a Swiss Army knife, hatchet, classic poultry shears and a sailor's rigging knife. They were DULL. Now, you can do surgery with these things. He also polished these items a little. They look fantastic! If it's not sharp, what good is it? read more

George arrived at my house with his beautiful clean white truck. Not only did I have my knives for him to sharpen, but my neighbors brought their knives over as well! All our knives (and scissors!) look and slice like new, plus George gave us all a small scissor as a gift. Thank you, George read more

Wow. I've had knives sharpened a number of places over the years, but this is amazing. Three chefs knives, 2 of which had gone too long since prior sharpening. All perfect and a really great polish on the blades. Nice touch. Nice folks and convenient. I will be back. read more

Fantastic service and so grateful! George was sweet and professional. The sharpening job was fantastic. I have two toddlers and have never chopped so much food in tiny pieces in the past year! My knives just started to kind of smash everything and it was stressful. With the kids it was a life saver to have the option to have his truck come my home and do same day service. My knives are like the day I bought them. Highly recommend and definitely worth it! read more

George sharpened my kitchen knives 2 days ago. I have had them at least 25 years and sharpened them myself. This is the first time I have had it done professionally. He also corrected the tips on a couple for no extra charge. They are now unbelievable to use. George is a lovely person and the cost was great. He did 6 knives and the cost was $55 including the mileage for his mobile van. read more
