My mother passed away after a lengthy illness and while she was in her last days I was told to make her final arrangements by her hospice nurses. When I told them I was planning on using Jersey Shore Cremation they had nice things to say which was really reassuring. They were totally right in confirming my decision. When my Grandfather was placed in hospice care, Jersey Shore Cremation came highly recommended. With my family having little experience with cremation, I was blown away with how good my first phone call with Zack was. I wasn't exactly sure what questions to ask or where to start. I was disappointed with Jersey Shore Cremation. They made a mistake on the death certificate (despite having the information correct on the forms we filled out). And the box we pre-ordered for the ashes was not available when we came to get them. To their credit, they gave us a nicer urn for our trouble, but they had two jobs, and they made significant mistakes on both of them. And when you are grieving the loss of family member, getting back a death certificate with errors and the wrong urn adds to the stress. To the owners: please be more careful. You are dealing with people at a very difficult, vulnerable time. Mistakes like this shouldn't happen. read more
