I called back and they said they would be down in 15min. It is now an hour past when they said they could have the car ready and 45min past when they said they would be here. The people at the airport says everyone who rents from here waits a long time. If you rent from here don't say you weren't warned.

Dielman was OG professional, and he consistently let me speak first when I interrupted conversation multiple times due to my own frustration of booking through a third party vendor. We got through it, and Dielman made sure my reservation was intact, made sure my reservation was transferred to my Enterprise app, and educated me to register online within 24H of pickup so I can skip the line at LAX. Dielman knows the power and value of the human touch in a sea of AI technology that can only try to compete. No robot can take Dielman's job!!! The Hertz representative, Sabrina, was extremely nice and professional, answered all of my questions, and was able to be contacted easily when my rental term was completed. I was provided with a Jeep Compass, which was clean, had adequate power, and I had no problems whatsoever. I will continue being a Hertz customer, and I was very appreciative at the customer service provided by Sabrina, and the Hertz company, as well as the coordination with Dodge. Thank you.

At about 10:30 am on 11/26, I called the pick up location to see if I could come a few minutes early to pick up the van. The man who answered responded that they do not have a van for me. I asked what happened and he didn't know but that they don't have one for me. I asked what am I supposed to do? I have a trip planned and items ready to be loaded into the van. His response was cold as he said "What do you want me to do? I can't make one appear". He suggested I call the Clearwater location on Ulmerton Road. When I asked for their phone number he just said "Google it". I called and did speak to a very nice lady who explained that this can happen from time to time if inventory isn't planned but should be communicated several days to a week before pickup. Unfortunately she did not have a van for me and didn't understand why they told me to call her. She said that I should call the 1-800 number and someone in inventory can probably help. I did and was able to get a 12' truck (much bigger than I needed or wanted and very fuel inefficient). I had to go 28 miles out of my way to pick up the truck too. What also frustrates me is that I got several emails from Laura Gangnier reminding me to get insurance because most personal car policies don't cover truck rental. I got an email from her at 7:45 am the morning I was supposed to pick up the truck. Why is she emailing me if they don't even have the van I reserved?
