He knows his stuff and makes you feel very comfortable and welcome. The first time I called his office as a new patient to see how long it would take to get an appointment his assistant Lisa said she and the doctor would happily stay late to see me that very day. I was truly shocked. I believe a responded eloquently with something along the line of "wha..? Really?! Why would you do that?" She explained that even though they could give me an appointment for the next day they'd hate for me to be in pain even over night if they could help. And they did help! Not only could I feel an improvement but I saw the difference with my own eyes. He shot an xray when I first went in and shot another xray 8 sessions later to compare. I could see the progress. My spine was distinctly straighter and my hips much more level. Just last week my mother watched me walking to the car and remarked "Ever since you've been going to that chiropractor you walk better." i.e. my gait was noticeably corrected. Maybe he was making small talk, but he kept asking me questions about my relationship with my boyfriend. The lady at the desk seems nice enough, but patient confidentiality needs to be emphasized. From falling down stairs, car accidents and work mishaps to migraines I've managed to run the gamut of pain induced misery. What I found when I was 21 or 22 was that a chiropractor can do what muscle relaxers and anti inflammatories cannot. They FIX it, no covering symptoms so conditions worsen. I pinched my sciatic nerve at 21 or 22 and went to the doctor barely able to walk. I didn't wanna breathe the pain was so awful. Pills were given to me to relieve my symptoms. They did nothing. Not one medication took the edge off the pain but when my boss called the chiropractor down the block my life changed. She explained that her tech could barely walk and asked if he would have any time to see a new patient. She was speaking to Dr. Reid Ketteler who was closing for lunch within just a few minutes. What the man did was phenomenal. He asked me to come in at 12, ON HIS LUNCH HOUR, so he could help me. He took x-rays and studied them with me, he measured my muscle function and showed me the reason behind the pain and then worked out a treatment plan with me. He made me part of my own care and solution and educated me and you know what? Funnily enough the pain went away. I was able to walk and run and even got back to my volleyball league. So my review goes like this: Dr. Ketteler is a rare gem! He is a kind, caring and compassionate professional that enjoys helping others. His office assistants are sweet, friendly and personable; the treatment offered is top notch. I cannot say enough about just how wonderful this practice is! Btw, I agreed to do it because I thought it would be something similar to the foot scans they do to determine orthotics. Something actually based in science. I did get some good supplements to take, but despite me telling her I have autoimmune disorders, she still gave me something with echinacea in it, which can make autoimmune disorders worse. They're refusing to refund my money for the supplement even though it's never been opened and I contacted them about later the same day. To me that is not only shady, it's a terrible way of doing business. So if you're filthy rich and can afford to drop a ton of money on an adjustment, go for it. But don't fall for the other nonsense.

Rather than just receiving a "wham-bam" adjustment, your posture and lifestyle are taken into account. Immediately, you are given rehab exercises, diet suggestions, and an explanation of your appointment schedule (which they try to keep as concise as possible). They use acupressure to adjust and it is amazing! The inflammation and soreness that was always plaguing my neck is gone after 2 weeks. My posture looks amazing too! In general I'm feeling better--not just my neck--which is the interesting part to me. I would definitely recommend!
