Washer/Dryer was okay. Weed cleaning was mediocre at best. They had to move some pipes around the laundry room and cut into the drywall to do so. They pierced into the wall in the room next door. They repaired the damages, but when it came to the color matching of the walls' paint, they got a completely different color and they were going to leave it as it was and instead of fixing their mistake, they wanted me to spend hundreds on labor and paint to repaint the whole area in my 15' high cieling home. I took it upon myself to get the correct color from Home Depot, and they painted it on, and it was a correct match. ( let me add they did patch up a whole in my kitchen free of charge). I stated specifically what weeds needed to be cleaned before the process began. When they claimed to be done with the weeds, they didn't do any of the front sidewalk until I told them. Even so, it was not detailed professionally. Granted, they did work with the price. But I wonder if that's why I got a poor job with the weeds. As the projects were complete and they were getting ready to leave, I pointed out areas that needed to be cleaned from the materials of the drywall that stained my gazebo and back door handles. Time management was horrible. They decided the times they would arrive and I'd agree the day before. Regardless of their excuses, they never made a single appointment on time, having me waking up and waiting for hours at a time. I decided to try them again for a fence project I'm about to begin. Last week (Thursday at 1100 am) they informed me they would arrive 'First thing in the morning at 7' Monday morning. I agreed. There was no cancelation, so I assumed we were good to go. I woke up Monday morning at 0500 am to a message they sent at 9:46 last night to confirm if we were good for Monday morning. I texted yes. He stated that he didn't get an answer last night that we needed to reschedule. Don't get me wrong. The work they did was excellent as far as the Gazebo and Laundry room. They were helpful with the added patch work. They are good at making appointments but bad at being on time or keeping them. This is a review for them as much as the person attempting to hire them on mistakes that can be fixed. Time Management and Attention to detail are very needed for this up and coming company as well as cleaning after the projects are complete.

No more smog checks for any of my vehicles anymore. We were blessed to purchase a new home in Tres Lagos (Great Community). I have learned rather quickly that Texas and California really do business differently. In California when you call to have something done on your home the business your working with will come to your residence and get started with the job you have asked quotes for if you agree on their terms. The business will normally arrive on time because they really want your business. If the business will not arrive on time they will call you and tell you they will be delayed or they can't come. I've learned here. "In the Valley," that "some" businesses you call, come to your home or they don't. I've had several appointments be cancelled at the last minute by the vendor or the vendor in question just did not show up at all. No call. No nothing. This is my experience. Your experience may be totally different but so far I have seen a laid back approach when it comes to the Valley and "some businesses" coming on time as promised. When we moved into the area a neighbor recommended I get rain gutters installed on my home as soon as possible. Normally I wouldn't think anything about rain or rain gutters. I'm from California. It never rains in southern California. I experience my first rain storm here in the Valley. Holy Crap. I thought Noah's Ark was coming down the street. It was actually pretty cool. I loved it but the rain storms I have seen so far are no joke. I'm not familiar with the area so I always go to Yelp for assistance in these matters. That is were I found Phenix Remo and Roofing RGV. The owner, Brian, gave me a reasonable rate and time on when the job could be completed. Brian actually brought a company to mu home called Done-Rite Seamless Gutters. Brian and Ricardo arrived at my home on time. I'll say it again. "They arrived on time as promised." The work conducted by Ricardo (Saenz) and his work crew was professional, and exquisite. The job was completed on time and on the same day. This Ricardo guy reminded me of Lou Ferrigno. I had to send my wife in the house a few times because she was coming out to look at Ricardo a little too much:). Back to business. All kidding aside. Awesome job by all. I was given a fair price and was given a quality product. I then asked Brian if he could put an epoxy covering on my garage floor. This guy Brian does everything. Again, Brian showed up on time and found someone to help him do the job. I also have to say, I called Brian at the last minute (on a Friday) for my garage floor project because the epoxy company I called originally flaked on the day they were suppose to arrive (I wont mention that company). The epoxy coating Brian applied to my garage floor looked like a glass mirror (Brian showed up on Saturday the next day). If you want quality service and someone who will show up on time and do a great job, call Brian. If Brian can't do the job, Brian will find someone who can. If Brian is running late or can't arrive on time as promised, Brian will definitely call you and keep you informed. As a customer that is all we ever want from any business. Keep us informed, do the job as quoted, and do a great job. What makes Brian so special is his work ethic and the service he provides. Brian puts your project first. Even though you receive a one year warranty with your home purchase, he fights you when it comes to fixing things! Our backyard started to sink in several places, causing the grass to flood and die... and as the ground sank, it made the sprinkler heads stick way out of the ground. Majority of the sinking was directly along the irrigation lines... In other words, you can see where the piping was laid without even mapping it out. He claims it was our dog that made the ground sink... In perfect symmetrical lines leading to the sprinklers- lol. He tried defending his work by pointing out that it was sinking along another irrigation line but that the grass hadn't died in that spot... It's like he believes as long as the grass can grow over the trench, it's quality work. In the end, he said he doesn't cover the yard in the one year warranty. But in reality, it's not just yard issues he fights his buyers on... We've been in our new home for a little over 5 months and he just recently finished replacing our fireplace after he broke the initial one during installation. At first, he fought replacing the fireplace as well until we took it apart in front of him and proved that he had never removed a cap that was supposed to be removed and had screwed it down into the regulator, breaking it. He is gaining a bad reputation when it comes to repairs and doesn't always stand by his promise to build a "quality home".

Eduardo came out and within 24 hours emailed a quote for the job. It was very reasonable so I told Eduardo that I was ready to have him start the job. Within a week the job was started as promised. The day before the job was to start I changed my plans, adding steps off of the ramp. Eduardo altered the plan and the quote, again, very reasonable. Within hours Eduardo adjusted the plan and quote. No problem for him. Eduardo and crew started the next day. From the beginning E & J was professional. The design was solid and exceeded my expectations in every way. Eduardo was always on top of things. One night he worked until 10:45pm. Another day until 8:45pm. He used 2" x 6" floor and 4'' x 4" post anchored to the cement of my patio. The ramp floor and rails were solid as a rock. I had requested a 38" rail height to accommodate my 6' 4" reach. Again, no problem. The ramp looks great from the street and probably looks better than my house. :) Anyway, E & J and Eduardo earn a top 5 star rating from me. Count me as another happy 5 star customer.
