If you're searching for a reliable, skilled, and uplifting barber, Andres is who you're looking for. I'm very selective when it comes to barbers and his craftsmanship has been top tier. Andres has been cutting my hair for 2 years and I would pick him as my barber for life. I highly recommend Andres, you won't be disappointed. read more

Great service and very nice barbers. Andres is my son's barber and always does amazing!

This place is amazing , very family oriented! As a momma of boys going to a barbershop can be very intimidating at times plus most barbershops around here have the full on smoking ,loud music and the barbers who are just there drinking - not an ideal place to take a child in my opinion! This place not only has great barbers but an amazing shop to bring your kiddos and family to , I highly recommend Carlos, he is great with kids has an awesome personality and really takes pride in his work . read more

Glad I found this barbershop! Andres is great with kids. I've been taking my son for sometime now. Excellent service from Andres!

Some of these barbers here just plain ole dont know how to differentiate a high fade, mid fade, & low fade at all. if you ask for a low fade they'll still fade the whole side of your head & 4 weeks ago i asked for a high fade & this chick took off some chunks on the top of my head when i clearly said "nothing off the top". i like my haircut shaped pretty evenly on both sides & i got one side lop sided because this barber just didnt take my request seriously. i tried to give this barber shop a chance but once you do the same thing twice, its a done deal im never coming here again & dont recommend anyone who is specific on how they want their hair cut to come here because you will not get what you want read more

I brought my son to get a haircut, we walked in about 20 minutes before the barbershop was gonna closed, the hairstylist (2nd chair close to the windows) that helped us was in a hurry attitude, it seemed that she wanted to go home, which is understandable. She made the haircut quick without care or interest of what I had requested. The haircut looks choppy, uneven and she cut more on the top that what I asked for. Why not Instead of rushing a bad haircut just advise the client to come the next day if she didn't feel like cutting hair, I wouldn't have minded scheduling for another day. Not a happy customer. read more

This barbershop deserves 0 stars I've gone to the lady that's second right from the window and she does terrible haircuts. She cut my hair with scissors and left patches that were longer than others! Also you tell her to do a type of haircut and she does whatever she's wants with your hair. Not sure how she's licensed, also her customer service is horrible.. she acts like she's doing you a favor and is super rude never again will I be going to this Barbershop! read more

Got a haircut from a lady who had absolutely no conversation skills, no hospitality and rushed through the entire session with a miserable facial expression the entire time. I asked for a tapered neck and she did a high rounded line and said it was "going to look good". It looked terrible , so she went ahead and tried to fix it. It took 15 minutes for the haircut and she asked for $20! Gave her no tip, I will not be back! read more

I called wanted to make an appointment asked if they could answer a question to see if they accepted credit cards or cash only. The rude lady that answered the phone told me to call back after 7pm . And hung up the phone. I was going to go there and start getting my haircuts being as my barber retired read more

I've been going to this place for a while and they always go a great job. First let me say that Carlos is a fantastic barber and great person all around. The place is well lite, no blaring music and is very good size so you can easily maintain your social distancing. I highly recommend this barber shop to anyone in the area. read more

Great service, great people ask for carlo very nice . Cuts fast and is very precise highly recommend 100/100

I brought my son here to get his hair cut, it was recommended by a friend. The shop was full, people had appointments and some , like myself, were walk-ins. Ive had very bad luck with people cutting my son's hair, so im always nervous about it. The lady who cut his and my husbands hair did a great job. While i waited i saw the other hair stylist to see how they worked. All of them did great and the customers left satisfied. I feel we've found a place we can stick with, finally! The price was $15 for each, which i find reasonable. The ambiance of the place is old school, kid friendly, sports and war fanatic type decor. It was different but in a good way. Definitely beats the loud rap music and excessive cussing you see now a days in new barbershops. read more

Business was empty, I asked if the young barber at the end was here (as I was recommended by a family member) I was told by a lady sitting in the middle barber chair, no that he was off Wednesday's and Sunday's. So I asked her if she was available, she yelled to the back for George and told me that he was on lunch, so I asked her how long til he was available then? I felt her answer was really rude, she asked me "how long does it take you to eat lunch?" I decided to walk out of the business. I was just trying to get a haircut who cares who it was cutting my hair, the place was empty no one is getting a haircut or waiting it was just me standing there asking her. Wish I could give this place 0 stars. read more

Carlos is the man. Been going here for years since I lived in South Bay. Moved to Mission Valley, then to La Jolla and Pacific Beach and will still wait til I'm back in Chula to get in with Carlos for my haircut. The guy is good at what he does, totally chill & always remembers exactly what his clients are coming in for. read more

Was hesitant to write this review because I wouldn't like waiting when it gets busier but how is that fair for someone trying to make money? Carlos and George are the guys that I get haircuts from and they did not disappoint..been coming here for a year and needless to say that Carlos is as talented as they come .. but please don't go on Mondays to see him at 3.. those are my days read more

If I can give a zero I would! The lady all the way at the end has no idea how to cut hair! My explanation "I do almost a faux hawk but not so short. I want a 2 on the sides and little off the top. I hate having short hair." My end result was a strip of short hair and a two half way through the top of my head! She never once turned my chair around so that I can see myself in the mirror and was on her cell most of the time! I advised why so short on the top, she's replied "you said two!" And I answered "yes I said two on the sides!" And she just walked away to charge me. I heard George was the best but people were waiting so that should have been the first clue to avoid her since she was the only one without clients! Avoid! Horrible service! read more

I have been coming to this family oriented barbershop since the age of 14 (15 years now) All the barbers are great and if you happen to catch the owner, Tomas, he's always in a cheerful mood and welcoming. Although I can go with anyone and receive a quality haircut, I usually go with Carlo. He's always grateful to have customers and he takes his time providing you with an exceptional haircut. Sharp Barber= quality hair cutting, great customer service all at a reasonable price. Highly recommended! read more

Pretty great place. I get my hair cut done from the lady that's next to the window. She does a great job with my haircut.

Been coming to this place for years and the owner Tomas is absolutely great! Javier also cuts mine and my sons hair and they both always do an amazing job. Even get a shave from time to time. The decor it pretty cool as well. Always feel like I'm at home while visiting the barber shop. They just moved into a bigger space in the same strip mall. read more

Best barber shop in chula vista hands down! Not your typical shop, perfect for the whole family my kids love coming here! The decor is unique and very different from any other shop I have been to. That is one of my favorite parts of this barbershop the owner is very creative and every corner of this shop is greatly put together. The barbers are great especially the young guy carlo. He is very welcoming and friendly and although he is usually always busy we don't mind waiting because the great haircut is always worth it. read more

Walked in without an appointment but it was pretty dead no one greeted me and two barbers were just sitting there talking to each other, another gentleman walked in and got sat right away. I had to tell the guy my son was there first even though they saw us walking in and didn't acknowledge us. I did think the place was really cute my son, two years old, loved the toys and the decor he had so much to look at. for once he was happy to get his hair cut. George,I believe that is his name was very polite and friendly only he would not listen to what I wanted. My son has very little hair and I told him to leave the top long but he kept cutting I probably said this about three times but he just kept going and said that was the style. I understand that's what you like but it wasn't what I asked for at all. read more

As a hairstylist I hardly have time to cut my husband and son hair so they always come to the young man who seats at the end I believed is George his always booked and busy and they don't mind the wait is the only person I trust to cut my boys hair is always clean and on point perfectly faded and super nice !!! We been coming to him for the past 4years ! :) recommend calling to see when he works and booked in advance!! read more

I used to get my haircut here all of the time but today was the last because I went in this morning and asked a lady to give me a 2 on the back and the sides and a 3 in the top but somehow she heard me say something else and ended up giving me a buzz cut. As soon as she realized she messed up she didn't say sorry or anything like that she just said that my hair will grow back and we still had to end up paying for a haircut I didn't want and that the barber made by mistake. read more

I walked in as a guest from the hotel next door. They were very curtious and took me in without an appointment. I just wanted to get the edges cleaned up and I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. read more

I've been cutting my hair here since I was like 5. That's like 18 years of coming here. I've always liked the service and the prices are relatively fair compared to other shops around the area. Regardless of which barber I go to they always do a great job. They also recently moved to a bigger spot within the same shopping center which makes it even better. read more

The haircut was done perfectly! Olga did great! Plus, no wait when I went in. Maybe it's not like that all the time however I was hApPy about that too! The only thing I would change is the price. $14. I left a $5 tip = $19 however I like to be at about $14-$15 out the door. I will return when needed. Thanks Olga! read more

I love coming here to get a quick fade. A childhood friend of mine recommended this place because he has been coming here for many many years and just loves the work that George does for us. George is a super cool older gentleman that will really make you look sharp. He treats you with the utmost respect, hooks your hair up and he even shaves (electrical shaver) your beard and mustache if you want him too. He also he trims your eyebrows for you if they're too long. A haircut here is around the typical $13 range which I think is pretty reasonable. I always hook him up with a $20 though. So if you decide to get your haircut here, be sure to go to George. read more

I travel around a lot but I always manage to get the best barber cuts (rarely nerd to correct them at the rnd) for the best value ($13+tip).
