Absolutely THE WORST HVAC company I have ever had the displeasure of working with. I was ripped off…read moreby EX-CEO Matt on two different locations, Mine and my fathers. First I paid for a new Furnace, AC unit, and tankless water heater. After the install I found out instead of installing the SER 16.2 I paid for they installed a 15.4 instead at my house. Both my father and I were told we had sign up for the service contract and that they would service our equipment for free. In the beginning it seemed like a great deal. I also had my water main break and that was all this initial call was for. I was able to fix the main break on my own and did not need the service. It took Whitney so long that they had already installed the AC and furnace but not fixed the water. When I told Matt I didn't need he stated he had all his profit wrapped in that portion and that I would need to pay another 4k... My father had an AC and Furnace. They did not give him the de-humidifier he paid for because the install tech had a dull drill bit and inadequate tools, it took him 4+ hours to drill through the wall. My father offered a better bit and drill, the employee refused. SO he did not get what he paid for either. Fast forward to the after the first winter and my fathers AC is not working. WHiteny comes out and tells him he has a leak, service plan expired (even though they never came out for wither of us) and he would need to pay them. He then called the office and spoke with the office manager who stated he would not have to pay. Later I call I have to my service completed that I paid for at install (more than $4350 after the additional extorted $4000. ) just to find out my service plan expired and I also will need to pay after they completed the service, not before. I call the manager explain the situation let them know I am not going to pay, they say that's totally understandable, the AC unit should not be leaking when barely a year old. THIS WHOLE TIME THEY BILL ME FOR EVERYTHING. My dads service, mine, just everything. I call ask them for the 10th time to straighten out our accounts, explained again the entire situation to Margot. She says she will fix it, and talk with the higher ups and get this resolved. Instead she then Billed my father for services from MY house and his house! This company is hot pile of crap and is the biggest mess I have ever seen. If they continue to harass us over their fraudulent charges and business practices, we will see them in court. You sold me a 16.2 and installed a 15.4 thinking you were slick. You lied about your service plan, and over charges customers because your employees had poor tolls and improper equipment (Install tech tried to drill through a 12" wall with a dull bit and dead right angle battery drill). My father and I expect an apology. Thank you.

So we thought it might be a good idea to install A/C in our 1,400 sq. ft. ranch and reached out to…read moreVictory Mechanical in Fowlerville. Mike came out and took the appropriate measurements and sat with us for an hour or so to discuss out options. He was informative and patient and reassuring with us. We told him that we wanted to do this the week after my scheduled surgery on May 23, as we'd both be off and wouldn't have to miss any time for the installation. He told us that was fine and that he would be out 2 days after my discharge from the hospital. Somehow, we missed his call. After the fact, he claimed he called several times. Our phone only shows the one call. He called the night before my surgery, which wasn't the optimal time to call, but still, whether he called once as our records indicate or the several times he claims, (a) calls(s) was (were) missed. After my surgery, we reached out to him that Friday to see if perhaps we'd missed something. We didn't hear back from him until Sunday night at 6p on Memorial Day weekend. For someone in business, Mike has a strange idea of when people are going to be available to talk - the night before a major surgery or the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. Fortunately, we were available to take this call and my wife answered. Mike proceeded to tell her that he will not be able to install the A/C this week. My wife told him that was fine, we could reschedule for another date sometime the following week. Mike told her that he tried to have other people put off their installation dates and they refused to do so, so he was not going to install our air conditioning because now he was now too busy. Done. Just like that. Now we have to scramble to find another installer and make arrangements to be home for a job that we thought was already resolved. So if you're going to have Victory Mechanical install A/C in your house, make sure you get your appointment written and countersigned in triplicate. You may also want to have a fingerprint in blood next to the signature as well as some sort of bond posted by Victory. Because if Mike doesn't want to do the job, he'll just back out, thank you very much. We talked with friends of ours who know the industry and they speculate that he just got hung up with his subs and got overbooked. That's not my problem until he made it our problem. Don't let his folksy ways and reassuring palaver con you. Whatever you may have going on in your life, such as major surgery, cannot get in the way of his bookings. For all we know, Victory is the best darned A/C installer in the area. We do know, however, that for customer service, Victory Mechanical leaves a lot to be desire. Hire them at your own risk.
