We are not talking vinyard or glenview but the course was enjoyable around nature. The driving range only goes to 200 or 250 yards and is hitting off crabgrass. The course has a lot of water and a lot of weeds in the rough. 4 sets of tees and 6 six par 3's. They even had a sawgrass #17 hole. Snack bar available. Burgers were pricey at 5.50. Cans of beer were 3 or 4 dollars and 2.50 for Powerade or pop bottles.

"I said to our group, this is like playing in the Old Tom Morris days" before modern mowing equipment and smooth greens. Fairways had lots of crabgrass but very little desirable turf. Rough was just as bad, as was the driving range. Traps looked terrible but fortunately we were never in one. We played 18 holes from the blue tees which were actually a little better than the others, but still horrendous. The ponds had enough scum on them it looked like you could walk across them. It was almost 90 degrees with blazing sun in mid-August and no water fountains or coolers anywhere on the course. If I had known, I would have packed more water. The golf carts are nice, looking new and electric powered. The cheeseburgers were good, too. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

I prefer to walk nine holes alone to get the exercise and focus on my game (not much of a social golfer), and they always squeeze me in somewhere. Sometimes I get caught behind slower 4-somes and have to wait a bit, but it's not a big problem. The course seems very well maintained. The teeing ground, fairways, and greens are generally in very good condition. The three different 9-hole courses (red, blue, and white, in order of length and difficulty) are helpful for keeping variety in your game. I find the course challenging enough to keep me coming back, but I'm not that good. Considering the reasonable greens-fees, I'd say this course is one of the best values around.

He even rode the cart with us to my car! The carts are VERY nice and offer a lot, while we were there the course was pretty beat up, but it was late in the day and it had just stormed the pretty bad the day before so I'm not going to account for the damage yet. The course is very hilly and just when you think you've hit the bottom it just keeps going. After a certain point it didn't even feel like I was in Ohio. Such a beautiful course and plenty of water, bunkers, hills and tree lines that shouldn't be an issue, but can definitely throw your game off if you aren't careful. This course is tied for my favorite course currently, I'm so 100% coming back because it was shockingly incredible.

They make use of the space that they have and is owned by the same people that own the big dog that is Majestic Springs, but the stakes are much lower. A large dip splits the course in half and can be a sticky situation if you're not great with your clubs yet, but a good drive can send you flying straight over it. The people golfing here and just looking for a good, fun, 9 holes. They're not here to get in and out before their wives find out, which is always great. I went with a group of three and took a short break at the club house before going to hole 6 to grab more drinks and a group of two ended up catching us, we let them play ahead of us and ended up talking to the older gentlemen briefly and they were incredibly friendly and easy going. You might not find the most serious people here, this is definitely a small, "screw it lets golf" on a whim spot to golf. The fairways are tight and bend often, leaving a big room for error for beginners (I've seen my own friend slice so bad it crossed two fairways), but without challenge you will never grow, so if you can keep it straight and accept the embarrassment, it's worth the play, but can get boring/old after going so much. If I had to describe it, "it gets the job done" when golfing. Not my first choice by any means but if I'm wanting to golf and I don't want to go far? Here I come.

They also have a nice putting green near the front that is really well maintained and great to practice on. Inside they have a wide variety of clubs to let you borrow from, they are older clubs but at least it is something. My only complaint is on purchases under $10 it has to be a cash purchase only, no card, so that sucks when you want a drink but only have a card on you. All in all, this is a really nice driving range in the area that I totally would recommend.

This place has tons of parking which is free. The pricing for mini golf was really good better than anywhere else - unlimited and two different 18-hole courses (I will say the courses itself could use an upgrade - new paint or adding some objects to the course to make the established holes a bit more challenging. We paid 9 dollars per person. The driving range was also pretty cheap for buckets of balls - it would be a fun afternoon to bring the dads for driving range, the kids for mini golf and the moms can eat food and hang or enjoy the range as well. The food looked good, but we did not partake - the drinks were decently well priced - a can of beer 3.50 - a sway was 6 bucks. They have free concerts every now and then at their art installation, which is pretty cool, I also think it's cool how they do 5 buck Mondays. The staff was nice enough, my only complaint is the grass was a little overgrown, so we got ate up with chiggers and skeeters.

The only other review listed here shows from 10 years ago. Hey Yelp! You may want to consider deleting that one. 10 years?? Anyway, course conditions were very good. I guess my only complaint/concern was the actual cart paths needed some major work in spots. Other than that, really well done and conditioned course. Challenging? Yes, I'd say so. Lots of different elevations throughout. But not difficult to walk, if that's your desire. The greens were in good shape. However, very challenging. Lots of slopes to deal with. And, a couple of holes, well, the grounds keeper (or whatever they call the guy that places the cup positions, must be a spawn of the devil on a couple of holes! Holes were placed ON the slope, so if you landed your shot to the green, beyond the cup, then missed it on the putt, you easily rolled off the green. Or at least the the lip. All in all, a super nice course, well laid out, well taken care of. There is dress code, no jeans, no t shirts. No big deal on that. $40 for 18 holes, so, about average price for 18 with a cart. Looking forward to playing there again!
