He isn't "knife happy" to recommend me to another Dr. who performs replacements, due to my age. He has the BEST bedside manner and loves to kid around with some of his patients. I want to balance out the other review with a different perspective…read more While it's true that Dr. Bair's practice is VERY busy and he doesn't have a lot of time to chat, I found that the staff and Dr. Bair were polite, pleasant to interact with, and very professional given how constantly busy the practice is. He's a surgeon, and surgeons, as a rule, are much better at interacting with unconscious people than conscious ones. The unfortunate reality of medical care nowadays is that in a lot of ways you're on your own, which sucks, but it's the way it is. You must be in charge of your own care and do your own homework. Yes, I would love to have a 20 minute discussion of the nuances of my knee arthroscopy with Dr. Bair, but the fact that I can't isn't really his fault. I would recommend Dr. Bair and St. Vincent's, especially if you live in Taos and Holy Sh*t is your only other option.

Attention Caroline Kingston, Carlos Trucco…read more I recently received a highly inappropriate letter from Mr. Trucco to which I am responding and notifying my legal counsel. I had an appointment on April 11 with Ryan Brison to review labs. An abnormality was detected in the urinalysis for which Ryan wrote a script for an antibiotic to be picked up at my local pharmacy in Taos. He also had me provide another sample, which I did. Not receiving any results or a call , I called and was told by the receptionist that the "manager" would review the results and have Ryan call me. No call . I called once again , and spoke to Trucco, who was quite unhelpful and in fact was "rude" himself. He denied that there was a second sample taken. His listening skills are far from a professional standard needed in a medical practice. I received a letter from him today, claiming that I was "again" rude and threaten to terminate me from the practice. There was no previous interaction. Rather then offering an apology, i was presented with denial and offered to return to Sante Fe for another sample. He never even considered suggesting that a referral could be made to Holy Cross hospital and easily obtained by your practice. I highly resent his unprofessional conduct, while also noticing no CC. to the DR. Kingston. I would recommend a disciplinary action. I wish to make it clear that this is not directed to Ryan, just Mr. Trucco's conduct

I see nurse practitioners and don't get to see the same one twice, but I like coming here because they have much shorter wait times to get an appointment than any other practice I have sought care at. All of my other doctors are usually booked for two to three months in advance.
