At a time when it is nearly impossible to find a primary care provider much less get an appointment I can now feel confident knowing that I have a Physician I can count on. All of my referrals have been made, all I need to do now is follow up with the appropriate labs and procedures. It was such an easy quick way to do an annual visit, I did not have to go anywhere! After having to cancel a doctor's appointment last minute with my primary care doctor that I had waited 6 weeks for, I decided I just couldnt wait anymore and I contacted Dr. Anderson of Santa Fe Mobile MD. I am overjoyed to have found a caring doctor who comes to my house within a fews days of taking me as a new patient, and has time to spend to listen to a complete history to help determine what my needs were. He ordered tests at places I trusted and I was able to complete the tests and see the doctor again for the results all within the week of July 4th. I felt the care I received was the best I have had in years. He even allowed me to talk about a family member I want him to see who is reluctant to see her primary care doctor as well. I have complete confidence in Dr. Anderson and have already recommended him to others. If you want immediate, caring doctors with a patient-oriented practice; who answers the phone and returns messages in hours, sometimes minutes instead of days and weeks; who cares about patients as individuals, this is the doctor, and Santa Fe Mobile MD is the place. They dont take insurance, but in a way it simplifies the business and is a super-power because they are not beholden to that broken system and their rates are reasonable for what you get. I am writing this review as a practicing physician with over 30 years of clinical experience and as a recent patient of Joel Rosen. This was clearly my worst experience with a healthcare provider. Joel makes many promises, but delivers on few. At our first visit, I was assured that i would be cared for by either him or his partner. However, when i had an incident and needed his care - both he and his partner were on vacation at the same time. Santa Fe Mobile signed out their patients to a nurse in Albuquerque! He also promised that he would follow me in the hospital; however, when i required hospitalization, he showed up once to tell me that he no longer had privileges and could offer little. You need to be very careful with how they bill since they do not discuss their bills with you but charge your credit card directly; therefore, if you dispute you need to go through your credit card. They charge for everything and do not accept insurance - i was charged $110 when Rosen called in a refill. I am currently disputing charges since they were unnecessary! Santa Fe Mobile understands the Santa Fe Market; however, unfortunately they are part of the problem and not part of a solution. Joel knows how to market his services and he is charming on the first visit; however, he is not a very good physician and lacks integrity. I realize that there are very few good choices for primary care in Santa Fe; however, Santa Fe mobile should be avoided. read more

When I'm in a situation where I need some answers about health-related issues for my family and myself, Dr. Stewart Anderson is the first person I think of. And he -- or his spouse, Blair -- are there to take the call. Santa Fe Mobile MD is our first call because Stewart not only knows what he's talking about, an ER doc with decades of experience, but also because he's friendly, kind, great with the kids (Blair and he have two young kids of their own) and attentive when we're explaining the issue. He's a great listener and that informs the care he provides. The fact that SFM-MD's rates are affordable (he offers a sliding scale) makes the alternative of going to urgent care or a doctor's office a distant second.
