There were a few others around but most were finishing up with purchases. The view of the vineyards and lake (with a gazebo) is very picturesque. The restaurant seemed high end with prices to match. There's starters, mains, sides and desserts. There's also a four course "feed me" option ($75.00 AUD/person). Wine tastings are $5.00 AUD/person but fee is waived with a bottle purchase. We hit it off with the host who also happened to have lived in Canada. We sampled all 6 of their offerings. - NV Josef Chromy sparkling - 2017 Josef Chromy sauvignon blanc - 2017 Josef Chromy pinot gris - 2016 Josef Chromy chardonnay - 2016 Josef Chromy rosé - 2016 Josef Chromy pinot noir Decent wines but nothing particular stood out to us. The oysters were incredibly fresh; the beef carpaccio with truffle aioli was knee trembling; the pork with apple was delicious; and salmon was just...wow! So why not 5 stars...the service was friendly but incredibly slow.
