She also made sure to discuss every aspect of life with me that would affect my health; such as diet, stress, excercise, family history, and overall well being. She has also given me excellent referrals and worked with my insurance companies to make sure that my preventative care is covered. Not only does the doctor, Doctors assistant and nurse practitioner know our names, all the girls I'm the office do as well! Often times, out of the blue, I will get a call from the doctors assistant concerning something I may have mentioned at a visit! Always having a solution to whatever I may have mentioned. They keep impeccable records and actually read them! Always keeping in close touch with whatever specialist we are seeing as well. There is also a girl in the office that is a genius working with insurance companies! No more waiting for an hour on hold with insurance issues for us!!! I had to physically go into the office to do it and (they marked it as a no show) there was a 3 m month wait before they had an opening, told me to take him to ER or walk in clinic. Finally got him an appt and upon arrival discovered they had relocated the office so we were 15 minutes late and they refused to see him because he was late, we tried to explain we didn't realize they had moved and had went to old location. The office manager talked to us like we were stupid, rolled her eyes and smirked as she walked off. My husband missed a day of work and had drove two and a half hours one way to be at that appt!

She has been there fro the past 3 weeks. Dr Hanusa would not call our family. He told my mom he was to busy. He discharged my mom to rehab at Heritage park on Dec 18-2014 at 6 p.m. She passed at Dec 19, 2014 at 10:15 a.m. the next day. I feel he just wanted wash his hands of her.
