When I finally met with the doctor, he asked to do tests and when I said I'd like to discuss it with my family, he told me he thought I was "more independent" than that. On top of that, I had an issue with my insurance because that office submitted a lab purposely saying they were looking for a condition I don't have so they can "make sure the lab tests were covered." I got this information for a mannerless woman at that office named Vanessa. I asked that her manager call me back in order to rectify this with my insurance and never received a call back. I called back weeks later and was left on hold. Finally, someone picked up the phone and unfortunately it was Vanessa. She proceeded to tell me that they called me back but originally couldn't tell me when. Then she said she spoke to my insurance company and THEY were supposed to call me back. Then she tells me soon after that her manager called me back the same day I called. I asked her to put all of this information in writing which she refused because she said she's "telling me over the phone now." I asked again to speak with her manager so she can put it in writing, but she then tells me that she's too busy to call me back. I asked o please have the doctor call me back. She responds by saying that the doctor is too busy to deal with this type of stuff. This experience was an uncomfortable nightmare. Not only did the doctor make me feel extremely uncomfortable, but his office staff are extremely rude and refuses to let you talk to the doctor at all. That, and they should be penalized for insurance fraud. Submitting tests under for false reasons purposely so the charges can be covered is illegal. Save yourself the hassle.

If you're a new dental patient who values your money and time as much as I do, DO NOT COME HERE…read more I called and scheduled an appointment for a general dental cleaning as a new patient. When I arrived on the day of my appointment, they only took X-rays of my teeth and then told me I'd need to schedule a separate appointment for the cleaning -- which would be three months later. I've been to about six different dental offices before, and they always did both the X-rays and the cleaning during the first visit. The only reason this office splits it into two separate visits seems to be so they can maximize their billing -- but what about my time? I understand it's their clinic and they can set their own policies, and I also understand that X-rays are needed before a cleaning. But if I specifically call to book an appointment for a general cleaning and you can't perform the cleaning on that date, you should at least inform me ahead of time that, as a new patient, I would only be getting X-rays on the first visit. Instead, they scheduled me with no intention of cleaning at all. Kind of scammy, don't you think?

All of these repairs led me to a serious arthritic situation requiring me to have a total shoulder replacement in my 50s. After careful review, I selected Paul Sethi at ONS. A great choice! The operation took place in their Stamford medical suite so no risk from all of those infectious transmissions that can show up in the hospital. Paul was extremely thorough in his diagnostic prep and model building leading to a very smooth procedure. What blew me away was that I NEVER had any pain after the operation! My rehab was smooth and my therapist says he has never seen such a phenomenal total shoulder replacement in terms of range of motion, fast recovery and overall strength. The frequent office follow ups were reassuring and conservative. I could not be happier and recommend Dr. Sethi wholeheartedly!!! This guy is a winner.

The other 3 doctors before the Texas Rangers team orthopedist and an orthopedist in Farmington, CT seemed not to care about me and pushed me out of their office as soon as they could. The Phillies team orthopedist said that b/c I had already had surgery on my right knee that he wouldn't do the surgery. I spoke with Keith Meister (the Texas Rangers team orthopedist) over the phone and he had seen my MRIs and he said that there was def a problem with my right knee. He sent me to Paul who then took a half hour with me to show me all the MRIs and pictures of my knee. He showed me where the tear was kind of hidden and that I definitely had a meniscus tear. He said it could be worse when he goes in to do the surgery. As it turns out it was worse as he needed to perform microfracture surgery on my right knee as I had a hole in the articular cart down to my femur. I was devastated, but he was with me for the next 2 years as I recovered from the surgery and the subsequent surgery on my lateral meniscus on my left knee. He pushed me to work through having surgery on both knees. It was a very hard time in my life, but both Dr. Snowball and Dr. Sethi were there for me and I will remember their help for the rest of my life. If you want doctors who are good at what they do, give you the time to talk to them about what is going on, and really care about you go to Dr. Sethi and Dr. Snowball. You will not regret it.
