They wouldnt explain this policy and they decided to throw us out of the place without having the doctor check my husband and read the results of his tests. I wonder if the doctor remembers spending about 90% of my visit speaking about his new iWatch and his wife, but somehow he can say with certainty what happened in the room months ago. I stand by the fact that I was not made aware nor did I request the test that was done and that I am now forced to pay almost $600 for. This office should be investigated for their practices and their lack of empathy or concern towards their patients. Billing and doing unnecessary tests on patients should be against the law but some how Stamford health and this office seems to get away with it. I am appalled and the experienced I've received in this office. It is a true shame because before this (and seeing this new doctor) I have only had good experiences with Dr Jhunja, despite the low quality front desk and management in this office. *** Update *** I have now left 4-5 voicemails for the manager (Christina) to call me, she has zero regards for my concerns and issues since she hasn't bothered to call me back. I have been trying to get a hold of her since December. I don't understand how a medical facility whose number one priority is supposed to be taking care of people can care so little. Do better. Worst medical group. Seems any office Stamford health takes over becomes low quality. They cancelled my appts "many time" often without notice. Billed me for services I did not approve or was aware of landing me with a $572 bill that they take zero ownership for. Very very high turnover, new faces almost every time you go. No one seems to care enough to even hear you or want to help you with your concerns. I have never had such a negative experience in a medical office in my life with such lack of empathy. Stay away from any group managed by Stamford Health unless you want surprise charges and to be treated like your time and health doesn't matter.
