I already reported this office and Douglas McCarthy 40 min wait time to be seen. I specifically told everyone my son was special needs the nurses are fine did a good job the doctor no. My son has sensory issues and I told him that he held my son down which he doesn't like he was screaming and crying in fear. He didn't even see him for 2 min before saying that's it. Walking in with a cane he needs to be fired. There is now a pending investigation. read more

Everything with my grandchildren for ten years! They've taken such good care of them I don't know what I would have done without them.

Takes an eternity, even for a simple immunization. Never feels that clean. Doctor dismisses concerns. Have had an appointment for an immunization, been made to wait over 30 minutes to then have them tell me they are out. read more

do NOT recommend. i went here with my baby a couple of times despite it not being the best meanwhile i researched other drs nearby (which all have low ratings as well). this place is very dismissive about any concerns & as a ftm i asked questions whenever i felt confused and they failed to help. place is not very clean either, wait times are ridiculous despite having an appointment be prepared to wait 1-2 hours. front desk staff acts like they don't see you stand there waiting for their help & when they finally help they're rude. i ended up changing drs to one down the hill and the difference is insane! i was told there that Dr.Aparna's office gave my baby an extra hep b vaccine! thankfully it wasn't a big concern but again they give little to no information about anything to you there. read more

Extremely disappointed in the management strategies and billing procedures use negatively on patients! My health insurance has denied a frivolous fee charged for a well-child checkup my teen daughter had in early January. The primary insurance company paid most of the ridiculous fees and there was a remaining balance in which secondary insurance would cover however billing the right codes for services etc... The billing manager needs retraining clearly she's rude and unprofessionally spoken I tried resolving the matter only for her "Maria" tell me it's patient responsibility fees. I will recontact Tricare and upload the letter in which states the medical provider cannot demand payment. For the meantime due to $216 owed in fees my daughter was not seen! Completely inconsiderate to turn a patient away. I even brought up that now we would be exposed going out to the ER for a simple office appointment! I hope upper management can reevaluate the style of employee they having in Billing. Apparently she is also in charge of the Apple Valley Office and Hesperia. She's the only to make a complaint??? I am rating one star for failure and unethical practice. read more

Beware of billing!!! Dr Sharma is the only doctor my 5 year old has ever seen and unfortunately I have been forced to find a new pediatrician. I've really enjoyed Dr. Sharma but her office staff is lacking in so many areas. A few weeks ago I took my son in for his five year check up and upon checking in I was advised I had a $200+ outstanding bill. I questioned the bill and was advised that's what the note says. The billing person had already left for the day and when they called her the receptionist was advised that my Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO plan is no longer accepted. I advised the receptionist that I was never notified or billed. I then cancelled my son's appointment that I had scheduled for more than a month and drove almost 30 minutes for. To date Dr Sharma is listed as a physician covered on my insurances website. Note this is not the first time I've had an issue with billing. At one point I had a credit of over $100 due to overcharging. read more

Went in today for my daughter's ear infection! They put us on a waiting list and we were called in within 2 hours. When we got there our visit was fast and the Doctor was so friendly patient and professional! In all my years I have never met a doctor so kind and one who was okay with us not taking pharmaceuticals! We really appreciate his knowledge and care today! read more

This is my last visit at this doctor's office. Hour long wait times. Tv but no movie on for the kids. No books or magazines on while we wait. Seriously why have an appointment if we are going to wait at least an hour each time. Last visit here. And the examination rooms are dirty. Torn alcohol pad wrappers and tissue in the floor. read more

giving 1 star because of 'Mike'. I was calling because my sons prescription was never sent to our pharmacy like it was suppose to be. He kept answering saying 'can you please hold' and putting me on hold immediately after. I was on hold once for 10 mins. i kept trying to call back and he hung up so fast that he didn't even hear me trying to saying i have been put on hold for over 10 mins already. Finally I get through and I am telling him why I am calling. He cuts me off more than once, I asked him when the prescription will be sent and he says 'i don't know' i then ask if there was a time frame and he says 'idk i'll ask' and then i said 'i just want to make sure you guys don't close before the prescription is sent and he says 'well the doctor is with a patient'.. i then told him how rude he was being and his excuse was 'i was by myself for the last hour'.. i told him that doesn't excuse his rude behavior. then i hung up because at this point i'm already upset. Mike you're rude and annoying. read more

I went in a couple months ago for a check up after a crash, and I waited around an hour and half even though the office was empty. When the doctor finally decided to see me I told her all my concerns and where I was in pain (bruised collarbone, swollen knee, extreme back and chest pain, pounding head) she didn't listen to my concerns and didn't even check me good. Didn't even check my blood pressure or heart beat didn't prescribe any pain medication either. I ended up going to a different doctor where they told me I had a concussion and actually prescribed me with pain medication and even made a follow up appointment to make sure everything was ok. read more

I'd be putting a half star if I could only because I like the assistant Doug. She has never been of any help these last 5-6 years of being patients with this office. My son and I have maybe seen her 3 times max. To do his circumcision/shots/. I went in almost 2 years ago to ask for 2 referrals for speech and a hearing evaluation because the school district wanted these things. She said he was too young for speech therapy at the time and said she would do a referral for a hearing test that was almost two years ago. I got a call later on and said he was denied. Mind you he's been with IRC since 20-21. Got evaluated with IRC, school district and the state. He's autistic. She had us waiting both times in a room for 45 mins or so. First time "oh it's just tantrums, second time this Friday. She said "well he makes eye contact" that children his age need to be taken care of. If you have all these paper works of him being autistic I want copies of them emailed to me ( I'm not emailing her anything) I'll be switching doctors Monday. She also said if IHSS has any questions that they can call/contact her. (Right) Because now she's saying he should be getting speech therapy more than once a week. After I said he's been going to school with the Autistic children at a special needs school as the district placed him. She was rude, unwilling to listen. How can you define a child after only being in a closed room for less than 5 mins. Anyone can make eye contact. My son can't have conversations with me to tell me how his day is, how he's treated, if he ate. My son doesn't behave like a typical child. The fact we're on Medi-cal I do feel we're treated differently. I finished college and am now at a university. I've worked in a childcare setting for 3 years now, head-start, early head start, quality start. From new borns to 12 years old. She doesn't know my background or that we go to church or that I volunteer in children's ministry. Nothing, she's very arrogant. Not autistic friendly. Unacceptable, doesn't even leave room for you to speak your experiences. I would never recommend her. I'm not one to speak up on things. This passed my limitation on what to allow. read more

BEWARE OF BEING BILLED AND RUDE EMPLOYEES!!!!!! We have insurance and proof of insurance but wasn't able to use it. Charged me $65 for just a visit (before my son was even seen) last time was $45 and the women behind me in line got charged $90 (also before we are seen) they were extremely rude and said we can't be seen unless we pay them first. The room are absolutely disgusting and crowded. They are so concerned about people wearing mask but uses the same unsanitized tools on my son and throws the unsanitized tools back in the drawer with other tools. There is constantly a line of people in the waiting room. You wait over an hour to maybe two hours to be seen ( with an appointment) l. Last time I was in one of the doctors didn't even knowledge my problems I had like what was even wrong with my son. He came in for not even 2 min to see my baby and said "everything looks good, he's healthy but I wanna see him again soon" they forgot about the shots he was scheduled for, he didn't talk to us to even ask what was wrong. Left dirty cloths and wipes next to my son, which he ended up grabbing and almost putting in his mouth and left the room. I would never go here and I would never suggest someone going here. read more

A for Awesome. Thank you so much for helping my daughter chase. I would recommend dr Arpana Sharma to anyone who is looking for compassionate, caring and experienced care for their loved ones. On the same note, staff is great, specially Debbie. Every time I call or visit, Debbie goes above and beyond and gets the job done. Thank you Debbie. You are awesome. read more

My nine year old and my seven year old have been patients of Dr. Sharma since birth, and I never had any issues until recently. Current receptionist have steered me to look for a new pediatrician. A lot of miscommunication occurred regarding my new born. His circ procedure was scheduled at another location without notifying me, also I was charged $325 for the procedure. I reached out to my insurance for them to tell me it was covered and I shouldn't have to pay anything. While on the phone with my insurance rep I canceled the appointment in front of reception and requested a refund. Too many mistakes for one day. read more

Waited in filthy waiting room for over 2 hours. Finally saw the doctor and she claimed my son had swine flu yet forgot to submit prescription to pharmacy. Ended up at urgent care that night and of course it was ear infection not swine flu. Very dirty place to take your children to be seen. Not recommended. read more

Worst customer service ever ! Waited two months and I called every day to get my daughters blood work and finally had a human call me back ! The staff is unprofessional and seems not busy but yet makes you wait a long time! I would not recommend to anyone ! You go up to the staff and they ignore you until you make your presence known ! My daughter also took an X-ray and again never received a call that the results were in ! My appointment today was at 9:30 and its 10:30 and still have not been seen ! read more

I have been brining my kids here for 9years. The new office is big and has lots of rooms so we don't have to wait long at all. Dr Sharma has always been so nice and good with the kids. She didn't make them cry like other Dr's do. We even moved pretty far from Hesperia where her office is but I still bring the kids 45 min drive to Hesperia to her office. Her staff has always been wonderful to us. Nice, friendly and a beautiful office. The kids love the TV's with movies in every room also. read more

BEWARE! (Long waits, poor patient relations, and rude front desk) This review is for the office located at 15398 Main St. Hesperia, CA 92345. I would give it 1 star, but the office is spacious, Dr. Sharma is nice to the kids, and her male assistance is very cordial when he examines the kids. Whenever I call, I am always put on hold. I have taken my kids to this office for almost 1 year. The wait is usually over 1 - 1 1/2 hours (even though I'm early) to see the doctor, and they never apologize for the wait. The front desk is usually curt and unkind. They wanted my son to get a vaccine he already received. Unless major changes occur, I will look for another pediatrician. read more

Took my sons there when they were younger. Had to stop going there. No regard for time. A lot of people in the waiting room and waiting an hour or more became the norm. The doctor is good with kids but waiting that long is ridiculous especially with little ones. I would not recommend because there is just a lack of organization and caring of people's time. read more

Hate the wait times, and not a fan of the PA, but its so worth it. Dr. Sharma is the best and i wouldn't have anyone else treat my kids. My family has been seeing her for about 10 yrs. She has always treated my kids wonderfully and addressed all my concerns... Thank you read more

If zero stars was an option, that would happen. I have been bringing my son to her office for 14 years. It used to be a wonderful experience. Now, we wait for a minimum of an hour every time we bring him in. The person who does referrals has lost 2 referrals or forgotten to put them in. We had to push off a surgery for a year because something got lost. We are now sitting in the surgery center waiting for this same person to update a referral that we asked her to update more than a month ago. If surgery gets pushed, it will be another year. I will be switching as soon as my "baby" is healed. This is extremely unprofessional and not acceptable. read more

My baby was seen at this office for a "two month" check up. I was not satisfied at all. First, the wait is ridiculous. They have you waiting AT LEAST an hour, even though you have an appointment. My baby wasn't even two months yet and they gave him his shots. I'm a new mom and wasn't even given instructions after his shots on how to help my baby with any kind of discomfort he may have afterwards. The phlebotomist didn't know what she was doing. My son was dripping blood from one of the shots she gave him and wasn't even going to clean it until I told her to. She left his leg bruised. Very very disappointed. Will not be returning!! read more

Ridiculous wait times, not for working parents or anyone that has somewhere to be. Was given a lame excuse about all pediatricians in the High Desert having long waits, untrue!! Save that story for someone who doesn't know better. This will be my last visit with Dr. Sharma, I will be taking my 3 children elsewhere. Her staff is great though, great girls who unfortunately have to hear complaints all day due to a greedy doctor (my opinion). read more

First time going to Dr Sharma. She was very nice and friendly with my baby. Spent enough time talking to me about baby's development. Recommended products for some of my general concerns. I would give a higher rating but it took forever to be seen.. I was told this was not the normal kind of day. But I waited a little over an hour, then waited another 15mins or so for the doctor. With a small child it makes for quite the morning. If my next appointment is less of a wait, I will update and give a better rating. Hope this helps :) read more

Horrible service, not only do they take long but but phlebotomist doesn't know what she's doing, took in my 7week old for a check up and they decided to give him his shots and not only did she look unprofessional but she made my son bleed (dripping down his thigh), I've personally never seen that happen. 2 days later he still had bruising around the area. I will NOT be returning! Plz don't waste your time with these unprofessionals. read more

I liked the doctor but the girl who takes the height and weight needs to be fired. I didn't get her name. I asked, but she told me she wasn't supposed to tell me? Anyway I made the first appointment because my daughter was really behind on her shots from her previous doctor. I went in to get her shots, waited over an hour and when I was finally called the girl told me oh she can't get shots because she's a few days shy of being 18 months. Even after I told her that we were trying to catch up on shots from 9 and 12 months, she still sent us away. I rescheduled for 3 weeks later, and was told by the same girl that my daughter was really behind on shots and needed 6 that day! Ha. Switched to Kaiser and got my daughter back on track. Thank God because that girl needs her head examined. read more

Sharma is okay...we didn't like her non attentiveness. She's looking at her iPad the entire time as she talks and whatever you say she says uh ha I see. If you know what your talking about no doc ever likes that and she seemed to take my standing up for my daughter what we were there for what we'd allow them to do while we there and what we were refusing to allow them to do. That's the only reason I gave 3 stars....she wasn't happy but humbly took it with a grain of salt. We were searching for a good female dr to count on and thought she'd be the one...,we never did find one. read more

i am so angry at this drs office. first off from day one ive taken my daughter im always waiting at least 2 hours with an appt. so i took my 1 year old daughter in cause she was sick and had a fever off and on. the dr checked her ears and nose and mouth (supposedly) dr told me its nothing just a flu prescribed me nothing for her told me just give her tylenol shes fine her body will fight it off. 2 days later she gets very worse. take her st marys took her in right away and within secs the NP checks her ears and sees that her ears are so infected and her throat as well she said that she has to have had this infection for a week now i told NP that i took her to her dr and dr sharma told me nothing was wrong. so st marys runs a chest xray on my daughter and come to find out she has pneumonia as well. my poor baby was suffering for a week because dr sharma was so careless to really check her. i am appalled. if i wouldve never taken my baby to the ER that night who knows how much worse she would've gotten. i will definitely be changing peditricians. i wouldnt recommend this dr to any parent. shes always in a hurry and very short doesnt give you much information to anything. the nurses and staff are more helful then she is. read more
