My work team did a service day and selected Hope Harvest Food Bank as our place to serve our…read morecommunity. I found this group on the website volunteermatch.org. I was contacted within a couple hours of submitting an information request and set up a day and time for my group within a day! Arriving at the location was easy with the directions, signage, and big parking lot. We filled out some simple paperwork and were lead into the back. Our leader gave us a quick history of the food bank and the amount of people they serve, its incredible! Families can come 1x/month. We were lead into the food pantry back where instructions were given about produce packing, pantry item distribution, and building carts of food based on family size. It was very organized and easy to do. We had a great time meeting other volunteers, learning about the food bank, and giving carts of food to those in need. It was sad bringing carts of food out to people and never receiving a "thank you." It makes you wonder what happened to these people that they don't show gratitude to the volunteers of Harvest Hope. I hope the workers get an overflow of blessings and gratitude in other ways.

When u go on the site at least now the annoying message is gone , But alas still no product available after months of looking DAILY folks. Okay here I am again now it's September it's been 4 months and still no success on this bogus site, still the register button doesn't allow u to register and the two items (that's right guys TWO) we're out of stock.I read somewhere that u can call the people and they will deliver your much needed food but what's the point of the bogus site

I came here after seeing information about receiving food on Facebook you can get a $100 worth of…read morefood for $10 or $300 worth of food for $30 I have been going to colliers in griffin for quite a while and getting the $10 crates of fruits and vegetables with occasional meats for some time. Heavens Gateway Ministries fills the gaps of all the other stuff I've been needing. Don't complain about paying $30 just bring a truck and I promise you you will become a regular. I've never seen anything like it. The sign has two days listed the food day is Friday. You go up they get your ID pick which deal you want then wait until they tell you to drive around back you back in they bring the grocery carts and boxes to your vehicle. Spread the word. You can also get diapers sometimes if they have them I stock
