I'm not big on primping because I simply don't have the time, patience and luxury to do so. However, there are some things I choose not to neglect like my eyebrows. I mean they tell the world if you're surprised, confused or about to unleash your inner diva. Every time I find a fantastic brow artist - she either retires, moves on or disappears completely and I'm left searching for another brow artist. This is what brought me to the lovely Orie. After my last brow artist decided to move on, I was left helpless with my Chewbacca brows. I had met Orie by chance and am so grateful that I did. Not only is she absolutely amazing and careful with my brows but she is such a sweetheart. It became very clear during our first session how serious she takes her job. She didn't rush. She didn't do a half ass job like every other brow artist in the valley. She treats your brows as if they're her brows and for me, that goes a long way. I was referred to Orie by my sister in law who had her eyebrows done and I wanted to her to give my lashes a lift. Kind of scared at first but she is so sweet and knows her job so well that I laid back and let her do her thing right before I had to leave for my flight to the Caribbean:) Lash Lift done perfectly and perfect on Vacation without having to wear mascara and the fact it lasted me 2 months was great and I have been back 3 times now to get them done. About a year and a half ago, I went to a permanent makeup artist (not Orie) for a lipliner tattoo and the results were terrible. I had clearly instructed her *not* to overdraw my lips, and, not only did she disregard my request, but she overdrew them in an unnatural, dark purple pigment. She assured me that the tattoo would fade dramatically in the weeks to come and eventually blend in with my natural lip color, but, months later, the liner was still purple and my lips still looked clownishly overdrawn. I was horrified with the results. Desperate to have the ink removed, I started looking for salons that specialized in permanent makeup removal, but but no one wanted to work on lips (due to the potential for scarring), and the ones that did were very expensive and required many sessions. Then, late one night, while searching the internet, serendipity intervened and led me to an ad on Craigslist left by Orie. She had completed her training in phi removal technique and wanted to strengthen her portfolio by taking on some pro bono clients with unwanted tattoos. I replied immediately and she responded right away. We met at her home, and within a few sessions, she had gently and skillfully extracted nearly all of the purple ink from my lips. Words could not express the gratitude I felt towards her, not just for removing my tattoo, but for consistently following up with me after each session to check on my recovery, and for being the genuinely kind, gracious, and compassionate person that I'd gotten know over the course of those 2-3 months. Shortly after my last phi removal session, Orie announced that she would be opening up her own business, and, because I was so impressed with her previous work, I've continued to see her, most recently for her micro-blading services. She tattooed my brows, and while I was a bit reluctant to try permanent makeup again after my lip liner disaster, I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Because of her professionalism and her willingness to listen to/accommodate my needs, I'll only go to Orie for permanent makeup from now on ...because (as I learned the hard way) it's PERMANENT. read more

Orie is amazing! She's super sweet & is very accommodating to her client's schedule!!! I have ombré brows that I'm removing with saline & she did a great job of numbing me so that I wouldn't feel a thing! I had made a dumb mistake by gettin a tattoo when I was young (of course) that hasn't had a meaning to be for about 7 years now . I lost out on many opportunities career wise even if the company would not directly say it. Tattoo removal was a great decision in my life and more than anything Phi removal. I met Orie through craigslist and of course it was sketchy , but it was my only chance , it was now or never! So i reached out to her and set an appointment for me and my mother who wants to get eyebrows micro bladed, but needed to remove the tattooed one she'd had at the time. Orie welcomed us to her home and my mother went first. Not only did we love the job she did, but Orie is a very humble and professional person who knows what she's doing! She kept us calmed all along and walked us through the procedure. She also gave us great aftercare instructions.
