Really great experience getting my brows threaded. My artist was super efficient and gentle. There was a little bit of confusion when I first arrived because I was a walk-in and apparently there was an appointment scheduled for the same time, but it got cleared up quickly and we had a good laugh about the confusion. I'm very happy with how my eyebrows turned out! Note that you can only pay with cash, Cash App, or Zelle. She does not accept Venmo or other credit cards. read more

Tooba is absolutely amazing--ever since I found her, she's the only person I trust with my brows. I also want to address a recent review from Arnell: it does not reflect what two of Toobah's other clients witnessed, I arrived shortly after and they were talking about it. The clients who were there at the time felt Arnell was being rude and demeaning, not only verbally attacking her business but her personally as well. Tooba's other client said Arnell's brows looked amazing. It's really disappointing to see a small business owner be targeted with false claims, especially when the review was edited after it was originally posted. This spot is a hidden gem! I just moved to this area last year and have been going to my eye brow lady all the way in the South Bay for 15 years (yes, I commuted over an hour just for her every month because great service deserves loyalty) but she has retired and moved to Vietnam and haven't had great success in finding a go to place close to home. Finding Tooba and boss brows has been such a blessing! The last three eye brow places I went to, waxed waaaay too much, the other cut my skin by tweezing too roughly, and the other was uneven. I finally gave up and just started tweezing myself and hadn't had the courage to try a new place out until I found this place on Yelp. And am soo happy! First time here, I called but she didn't have anytime available same day, but Tooba was so quick to reply. Made an appointment for the next day and my unibrow is gone, she shaped it perfectly with a nice arch. She used a combination wax, thread and tweeze and really takes her time to pay attention to the natural shape of my brow. She's an artist for sure. I was so happy with my eyebrows I inquired about other services because I'd heard of lash lifts and wanted to try it out. She talked about my lashes and made suggestions about a lash lift and a lash tint. I honestly never thought or knew I had long lashes! She said they were long, but couldn't tell because they point too down and the lift would help pop my eyes. I cannnnooottt get over this LIFT?! It's as if I got lash extensions for free!! What a freakin game changer! Thank you Tooba for the suggestions! Hoping they last! Will update at next service (: and definitely coming back read more

Came two times during the supposedly open hours of business and it was closed. Also, the one time I was able to get seen, wayyyy overpriced. I usually do my eyebrows and the side of my face, under my ears. At any place, I pat anywhere from 20-30 bucks for that. Came here and paid 50! read more

I been coming here for years to get my eyebrows threaded, which ive loved and finally decided to try microblading and miscroshading....and OMG, i am so in love and can't believe i waited so long to do it. my eyebrows look so perfect and natural, and the micro shading just helped to add the extra tint of darkness that i prefer. Tooba saved my eyelashes! I was recommended by a coworker who has been seeing Tooba for years. I had lash extensions done at another place and they were irritating my eyes. Tooba took me in so fast and helped take them all off in the most gentle way. She was so helpful and kind from start to finish. I also loved how clean, nice, and pretty the studio is! I visited the eyebrow threading store recently, and my experience with Tooba was disappointing. Upon entering, she conveyed a negative vibe, mentioning she needed to finish quickly for her lunch. During the threading, her haste resulted in a lack of focus, causing her to cut my skin. Overall, the service was rushed, and Tooba's attitude left much to be desired. Sad I paid $200 for a brow lamination and tint that didn't even last 3 days. I think it's def overpriced for the quality of work. For comparison my usual brow lady (who was on vacay and I needed my brows done urgently) charges $100 for a brow lamination and tint that actually lasts on your brows. I'd look elsewhere read more

Disappointed This Time -- Inconsistent Service…read more I've been to this salon before and had a great experience -- the lady I saw last time did a beautiful job shaping my brows with a defined arch and a soft, natural tint. Unfortunately, today's visit was a letdown. Despite clearly asking for an arch, the technician gave me a rounded shape that doesn't suit my face, even though I have enough brow for proper definition (as other stylists have managed before). The edges were left uneven and jagged, and stray hairs above and below the brow line were ignored -- it just didn't look clean or polished. I also requested a light tint, but she applied a very dark dye that felt way too harsh. I've attached a photo collage to show the difference: The top photo is from a previous visit (same salon, different technician) -- clean, defined, and just the right tint. The middle photo is today's brows before the dye. The bottom photo is after the tint -- too dark, with an attempted arch that left my brows looking uneven and butchered at the base. I genuinely wanted this to work -- the location is convenient and the first experience gave me hope. But the inconsistency in service and the lack of attention to detail today were disappointing. I may return, but only if I can book with the original technician who did a great job.

I've been getting my brows waxed by Ronnie for a few months. At my last appointment when I arrived…read moreat the salon only one car was in the parking lot, I asked if she was the only one working and she said a few other girls were there. I never saw another person in the salon, that's not to say they definitely weren't there but had I known the salon was normally closed on Sundays I would have scheduled another day. The appointment was available on her scheduler like any normal appointment. Conversation also seemed in my opinion inappropriate and unprofessional. During my first few brow sessions with Ronnie my brows turned out great. I prefer fuller brows which was what I got the first few times. She normally leaves the center of the brow full and I've discussed how that's important to me. This time she waxed all the way to the center of the brow. To me it seems like she took off more than she has before. She's also filled them in at each of my previous appointments, but she didn't this time. I drive pretty far for this appointment and pay more than double what my previous brow artist charged for peace of mind that my brows would turn out well. Because Ronnie specializes in thicker brows I expected to have consistency with how my brows were waxed. Unfortunately, that's not what I got so I'll be looking for a new brow artist.
