It also happened to be my birthday two days ago, so I received a cute teal blend scarf from them with little stars on it. So, why not 5 stars, if I'm so happy? The store is small and it is hard to find things. Although their sale items are great(!), their regular pricing is a bit steep. I saw a cute long sleeved shirt for my mom( with attached scarf) but it was like $80 eeekkk. My aunt purchased a CUTE tank top for about $50 (it is super cute, and has a great feel to it, with the top being made of a cute lace and it can be worn two ways, but still....) I understand quality, but..... I'm more of a 'not break the bank while shopping' type of person. Also, it took a while to get out of there. There was only one other person in the store, but it seemed that the attendant was more focused on finding her pants (or whatever she was trying on) than she was of giving equal customer service to my mom and myself. This store has a very disappointing return policy that all shoppers should be aware of before they…read morebuy. Swank Boutique does not inform you about this little policy until AFTER you have purchased (it's printed on the bottom of the receipt): No cash returns, period. If you buy it and take it home and find out it doesn't actually work with the outfit you bought it for, you can ONLY return it for store credit (and that's only if you don't take the tags off and still have your receipt). If it's defective, they'll offer to fix it, but they still won't give you a refund. For a store where clothes average $100-$150, this policy is so lousy, I will never shop there again. If I shop at the Goodwill, and spend only $5, I expect this kind of a policy; when I hand over one hundred dollars, I expect to have the security that if what I paid for doesn't work out and is in 100% resellable condition, I can get my money back. Not only that, I would expect that an item I paid so much for should be replaced or refunded if it is defective. Additionally, if you have a problem, they will respond very rudely to you, including on their own Facebook page for all the world to see. This is the kind of business that's great if you never have a problem, but if you do, you'll never want to go back again because you will be treated horribly.
