However, when he told me he was running late (at the time of our appt, only by our prompting asking when he'd arrive) he did not say it was by that much. Our appointment was "around 5-5:30". At 5:10 he told me he was going to his 6:00 then coming over without ever mentioning that was actually scheduled as his 4. He was not here until 7:30. I professionally told him that as someone chronically ill I was frustrated with the delay in communication, as late at night it gets painful for me. I also told him that other notaries had offered to even match his price and come today. He then told me the medical history for the person that made him late (completely unprompted) which made me uncomfortable. He'd noted that he was giving me a discount for between appts which I hadn't asked for, and I repeated I had just wanted to know the scheduled time. When I repeated it just wasn't clear communication (in a pointed but professional way without raising voice) he raised his voice very quickly. He said he didn't give a shit how I felt about it. At that point after being calm with someone who had not been polite or nice to me (I have texts I can share to show his behavior as well should he try to dispute it), I finally said he'd been a dick. He said I was an asshole and he didn't give a shit, need me, or my business and he didn't even give a shit if I paid - all at a very high volume. My boyfriend watching got anxious and said if he hadn't left a minute later, he was about to step between him and I and kick him out. Not only was he late and unprofessional in communicating that, he was straight up scary. Be careful who you let in your home. You don't know what flips their switch. I guess at least he didn't charge us? That saving a whole $35 really made this all worth it.

I visited Cleveland Fingerprinting for the first time on Monday, 5 June 2023 for fingerprinting…read moreservices. Whether you need your fingerprints done for a job (background check) or another reason, you can get it done at Cleveland Fingerprinting. I made my appointment online the day before and I received a phone call about 30 minutes later from the owner Janice who requested that I complete some preliminary paperwork and then email the paperwork back to her. APPOINTMENT PROCESS -- My appointment for one fingerprint card went well. It cost about $65. The whole process took approximately an hour and 45 minutes (which was long) because she did a practice fingerprint card for both my hands. While we did chat for a bit, we were chatting while I was being fingerprinted so the amount of time that I was there was still very long. After the practice session, I did my actual fingerprints on both my hands. She held my fingers as I pressed down unto the fingerprint card but sometimes she held my fingers too tight and it hurt me but I did speak out so it was fine in the end. The website mentions that the appointment for 1 fingerprint card should only take an hour (and in my opinion, it can actually be less than hour but everyone does things differently. I forgot that I actually needed 2 fingerprint cards so I came back 2 or 3 hours later to get another fingerprint card done. The 2nd time around, I was only there for about 35 minutes so this means that doing the full 10-finger practice fingerprint card takes time. For the future, I suggest to the owner to just do a practice run on about 2-3 fingers instead of all 10 fingers because otherwise, the client (me in this case) will be waiting for a long time to finish the appointment. Janice prides herself in being very precise in her work and while I haven't gotten the results back from my fingerprint yet (meaning - whether my prints were accepted or rejected), I'm sure the company I submitted them to will accept my prints. She works very thoroughly. EDIT -- My fingerprinting results came back and they were approved. I recommend Cleveland Fingerprinting for all your fingerprinting needs. Support this local black-owned business. I most likely will be back if I need future fingerprinting services. **** - 71/150 total reviews in 2023 - 622 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 14 June 2023

Worst experience ever!…read more I made an appointment on line and had emailed Janice Gibbs to reschedule because something came up with work. She said she would "allow" me to change it this time, but she doesn't normally allow it. She then sent me an email saying, "Due to your inability to keep your scheduled appointment. I will issue a one-time-only raincheck (WHICH WAS FALSE). So, please choose your next appointment day and time wisely. As a reminder, there are no refunds if you decide to not receive Cleveland Fingerprinting services." I went online to change the appointment and it said the date/time I wanted was unavailable. After numerous emails back and forth, I had to still go to the appointment because if not, she was going to charge me. She was very uncooperative and also proceeded to charge me twice! I would suggest NOT to use this company! BEWARE!!
