Inside shangrila rest. Nice cozy place

Place is nice cozy, clean. ordered chicken fried rice, crispy noodles. Very tasty food at reasonable price. My 2nd time here. Highly recommended to all.

3.5 stars. I had lunch here one of the days I was in town and needed a break from work. Service was efficient. I ordered hargow and steamed pork with salted fish & plain rice. The hargow skin was a bit too sticky and not the usual delicate stickiness from hargow but more of mochi-like stickiness so I wasn't a fan. I like a bit of spice and there was no chilli sauce or vinegar with ginger to dip the dumplings. I had to settle for salty soy sauce. The steamed pork and salted fish fared much better. I grew up with this dish. This dish was simple flavors and was like comfort food to me with a bowl of plain rice. I added a bit of soy sauce to the pork because it was a bit bland. Overall the ambience of this place is formal Chinese dining and the food is ok. I would return here to try other things on the menu if I manage to come back to Milan.

NOW THIS IS NOT A THAI RESTAURANT ANYMORE, IT'S CHINESE FAKING THAI!!! Anyone who has been to beautiful Thailand can confirm it. To date, there's no real Thai food in Milan. Food sucks & prices are outta this world. Tourist in Italy, stay away.

When we walked in we were greeted by very friendly staff and the clean, beautiful decor. There was a complimentary shrimp appetizer that consisted of a single cooked shrimp with a sweet, cream based sauce and a small side of pickled veggies. For our main course, we ordered the roasted duck and the Kung Pao chicken. Chinese roasted duck is one of my favorite dishes. While I was expecting roasted duck, what was served was what appeared to be fried duck. It was not what I was expecting but was still delicious, moist meat and crispy duck skin. If you're looking for more traditional roast duck, I'd suggest ordering the Peking option. The Kung Pao was delicious. Had serious kick and the chicken was tender and moist. The entrees do not come with rice as you get in the states, so order a small bowl for 2€. Would definitely eat here again! Was a great pick to help break up the overload of pasta and pizza (yes, it's possible for that to happen)

After a month traveling Europe, I was really craving some Asian food, so I'm glad I came here as the food really hit the spot. One thing that I thought was interesting though is that some of the dishes did have a bit of an Italian twist to it that I was not used too (coming from the states) -- in terms of the herbs that they used/sourced. But honestly, it wasn't a super obvious different and still tasted a bit like "home" aka my mom's cooking.

There was asolutely nothing wrong with the flavour, just the consistency unfortunately. My favorite was the wonton soup, the wonton was tasty and the vegetables were perfectly cooked. The clams and fried rice were nice too, two simple dishes. I'm suprised at how some Asian restaurants are unable to get easier dishes right but these guys just nailed it. The price for three dishes and water = 27€. I'd recommend this place and I will definitely come back!
