    Not fully cooked soup dumplings

My friend and I were starving and walked into this restaurant. We looked at the menu and ordered 4 food items on the list. We were very disappointed, not just because of the food not delicious, but also the service is very bad. One of the food we ordered was the soup dumplings. When I took a first bite, I realized the soup dumpling was not well cooked. So I found an employee who looked like a manager with suit on who named Sarah, and told her that the soup dumplings were not well cooked. The first sentence she said to me was "the top of the dumpling is thick, that's why it may not be well cooked." After that, she said "Can I borrow your chopsticks?" She started to stick my chopsticks to look into the pork inside the dumpling. Then she said "but the pork is fully cooked." By all mean, she was saying it is eatable. Afterwards, she said"if you want, I can steam for you a little longer, but it won't be tasty." Then she walked away...... what an excellent service! Well done, Sarah!

This location has changed owner more often than I can count. I dropped by during lunchtime to try the dumpling noodle soup 水饺汤面. Overall acceptable but nothing spectacular. The dumplings were not comparable to Shanghai Street 小街小笼馆, but at least the place looked cleaner than Camy's, with slightly better service. Let's see how long this shop lasts this time.

Pan fried pork dumplings, vegetarian dumplings + steam chicken & prawn dumplings... was so hungry and tasty that I took this after devouring

Wanted dumplings before the Lion King on a cold and rainy night, and wandered past this place and we ventured in here without knowing what to expect but wanted something quick and filling. Having been to some of the best places around Melbourne I was somewhat against stopping here. What a pleasant surprise we were in for though. We got the last table in this busy little place and quickly ordered 3 plates of dumplings; pan fried pork, pan fried vegetarian and steam chicken and prawn. Received complimentary tea and water with our food arriving much sooner than I thought was we walked in right before 2 other tables, though I think we just know what we want. As soon as the plates tabled down I scooped up a pork dumpling and haven't been happier with a standard pork dumpling like this. Very juicy and tender that I almost thought it was a soup dumpling. So delicious. The chicken and prawn ones were next, and the touch of ginger really hit the right notes for us. Finally the fried vegetarian dumpling, and these were just great as well. All great. Pricing seems fairly standard for melbourne dumplings, with 33 dumplings coming to $27, and 2 very full and satisfied customers. Definitely recommend this new dumpling house. Great job!

We came across this restaurant in passing and tried it out. Was told to wait outside for 20mins even though there was a table free. Ordered a few dishes that we know we like in most places and they were very very bland and not something I was excited about finishing... Service was the real kicker though, exceptionally slow and had to ask a few times for tea and water. Water bottle was taken away before it was finished and a new one did not replace it. Would not come back here again, there are so many other places in Melbourne with delicious food and good service

    Pork pan fried !

Coming from Las Vegas, Nevada and here on holiday ! I have been here 2X, and will go for a third. Great service and amazing dumplings! Had the won top soup which was bomb.com (straight fire ) as we say in the states! I had the pan fried pork and the steamed pork in chili oil . My favorite place in the city!

Best dumplings I love this place, cosy and warm, servings are a good size and prices are great for two or more people to share.

It is better to make reservations. For the dimsum I can say is average like other dimsum places I visited before. The menu is overwhelming. So many dishes to choose from. For dinner it was very nice as we had live crystal crab which I never had before. The meat is soft. The other dishes which good is the beef cube. It was so tender. The shark fin soup which is banned in US is good. Price wise, they are pretty pricey. Overall it was a good lunch and dinner

It's always…read morecomforting to have some Chinese food while abroad, and this place got the stamp of approval from 3 generations of my family!! The service was great our waiters helped us accommodate a disability within my family and recommended us some great dishes. However, the restaurant is upstairs and the elevator was broken, which made it difficult for us to get up. The food: -Seafood fried rice: Really flavorful, with generous portions of dried scallop and crab. The rice was cooked just right and the serving was big enough that for a party of 3, we had quite a bit leftover. -Snow pea leaves in garlic: A favorite vegetable of mine, and this was cooked in an amazing garlic-y soup!! Such a clean and delicious dish -Egg tofu: This was my first time having egg tofu and they were so silky and smooth. They look a bit like scallop and are served with a good amount of broccoli and mushrooms! Honestly really addicting. - Steamed trout: This fish was very pricey, but that's normal for a live fish dish. It was huge- definitely enough to serve a party of 5-6. The fish was cooked to perfection and the sauce paired amazingly with the mild trout flavor. Highly recommend if you're feeling like splurging! This place is also nice, quiet, and clean inside during dinnertime. Really amazing experience overall!
