It was crucial to get her on Medicaid so she could be cared for in a nursing home. This was no small task. They held my hand the entire way. In the end my mom was able to get on Medicaid and was able to get the care she needed. Most recently I needed to get a decree of decent for my mothers estate. Ken Herring and Jana Hennessey made the process very easy and once again knocked it out of the park. I highly recommend this law firm for all your Elder law needs.

In February of this year my father wanted to start working on a will, power of attorney and some…read moreother estate planning. He received a email, through mass mailing from William Hammond. We made an appointment to visit with Mr. Hammond and my dad signed a contract for a package service totaling $2500.00. We were to go back to his office in a couple of weeks to sign documents and have paperwork filed with the court. My father passed away before anything was done. I spoke with Mr. Hammond about a partial refund of the money my father had given him. Mr. Hammond declined to refund any of the money saying his hourly fee is $800.00 and he felt as though he earned the money. I'm not sure if Mr. Hammond had a legal obligation to refund the money, but his decision speaks poorly of his character, in my opinion.

He ripped me off, he was rude and is clearly not mentally stable. Being a homeowner means you have a list of things that never ends: upgrades, repairs, and routine…read moremaintenance always keeps us on our toes. This week's task was handling a potential infestation of rodents. Oh joy! Nothing like having your home be a home for unwanted critters, and, well, eww. Roberto showed up on time, even messaging when he was on his way, listened to my concerns, and took a look around our basement. I was relieved to find out that it did not appear as if we had a big problem, or at least as big of a problem like I had feared, and that he would look outside as well. Once outside, Roberto inspected the house and found the likely point of ingress for mice. It made total sense because the gap in the siding coincided with where the soffit for the ductwork is in the basement. He gave me quotes on the services that were available, ranging from quarterly visits to a one-time sealing of the house, and then gave me some ideas on what I could do to handle some things myself. The service charge was $99, and if you sign up for one of their quarterly services or another one of their offerings, then that service charge is rolled into part of the overall fee. I was super-pleased with that part of the arrangement and I look forward to utilizing their services. Very responsive, easy to set an appointment, and a relatively thorough inspection, all in the span of less than an hour. Great experience!
