I had an emergency surgery that came up and she approached it so swiftly, was truly empathetic, and provided the best care possible for me. I cannot say enough great things about her. Next is the support staff. Everyone here is so friendly and communicative. There is nothing more frustrating than going to a fertility clinic and having poor communication. That will not be your experience at Bloom. From Gabby, to Carmen, to Andrea, to even the nice lady at the front desk, you will be taken care of, The clinic is super clean and easy to get appointments with especially when your cycle starts. They are willing to do thorough testing before jumping to IVF and care about your goals. I literally have only good things to say about Bloom and Dr. Gordon. If I had to choose one negative thing it would be that I wish there was a way to send things directly to the doctor rather than having to schedule an appointment every time I need to update her with something, But hey, if that's my biggest concern, then I'm in a good position. Now my account shows a $570 balance, and I have no idea where it's coming from or whether it's even a legitimate charge. So, I reached out to them again on Monday. I would strongly recommend being cautious and not paying anything unless you receive a clear, itemized statement that shows exactly what is being billed and the date of service. Additionally, my cycle failed and reached out through their patient portal on Monday, but I never received a response. At this point, I will likely be looking for a new office.

I used this clinic, recommended by my work's provider, for one round of egg freezing. I had some really nice nurses and positive interactions with the upstairs office, but had a really negative overall experience with the doctor/office in general. This office doesn't have any appointment reminders (no calls, texts, emails, or automation). The office kept billing my insurance because the doctor "feels like it" instead of my original coverage from work, likely because it got the office more money. I had to fight to get the billing department to correct, so unprofessional and unhelpful. I asked to have my second consultation waived since I knew I wanted to move forward after blood work, which the doctor agreed to, but then said I couldn't have notes from our conversation since I opted out. Seriously? I wanted to save myself $200 and two hours of my time, so I'm not allowed notes is poor patient care. Most importantly, I ended up getting OHSS after my retrieval and was incredibly under prepared. I never would have come into the office post retrieval (another $300 and two hours) had I been given notes from my procedure or adequate notes on how to manage OHSS. Financially predatory imo. Plus, I literally couldn't breathe normally and was told my "doctor" was too busy to see me due to new patients. Now, it's been more than a month since my retrieval, and I still have no documentation on how to access my own eggs stored here. This has been the worst patient care/experience I've had to deal with and I hope this saves some women from going through a bad experience like I did.

If you don't get your answers, move on to better clinics. I wish I had done that when I saw the first red flags in the way the doctor and this clinic treated me.

I went to Dr. Koagedal on the referal from a family friend that tried getting pregnant on her own and at 43 years old was unable to. Instead of doing the very expensive IVF she saw Dr. Koagedal and got pregnant with twins. Well I was 40 years old at the time and decided to give him a try and not only did I get pregnant 4 weeks in but I continued to see him throughout my pregnancy. (We had been trying for 3-4 years before we found Dr. Koagedal) My first trimester I was energetic and never felt sluggish thanks to the "cloud effect" where I felt like I had slept 8 restful hours each week! When I threw my back out in my third trimester I went to see him and in minutes I was fixed! I also loved that Dr. Koagedal will only do what is needed and won't over sell you on products and sessions!! He only does what you need! Unlike others that say they need to do acupuncture and teas and god knows what else and then at the end of the day never give you results!!! My husband also went to him for back and sleep problems and we cannot thank Dr. Koagedal enough!! He has the best bedside manner and always makes himself available to answer questions!
