I had a backlog of coupons to use at Circle K. After my snacks pickup, I did a search and found this one close by. It is fairly close to the Tim Horton's that I had frequented the last time I was in the area. I had no problem finding this Circle K, which is attached to an Esso station. This store has the most parking spots in front of the store that I have ever seen. It must have roughly eight to ten spots. The downside is that this store is super busy that cars coming and going can be a bit stressful. I managed to back into a spot steps away from the entrance. I had coupons for a Polar Pop, and Bang and Joker drinks. I had no problem finding these items in the store. I got my first Polar Pop. The coupon said a 30-ounce drink. The cups don't have ounces on it. The sizes available are small, medium, and large. Instead, I looked at the coupon picture and matched it with the size. I got a large. Sadly, the cup is styrofoam. Ugh! I got a lid. There weren't any straws. Interesting. I saw cream soda and that's what I got. I love cream soda so much. This store has the best Bang flavours that I have ever seen. I got the delish strawberry kiss. It doesn't have any sugar, so that fact made me happy. It also has an incredible selection of Joker flavours. I wanted to try flavours that I had never had, but they had way too much sugar. I stuck with my usual sugar-free ones. There was quite the lineup to pay for items. The line moved fairly fast. I got a woman-man duo at the counter. The woman gave me a straw. I guess that they hand out hermetically sealed ones to folks who buy fountain drinks. The man scanned all three coupons off my phone without a hitch. I had my PC Optimum barcode scanned. I then paid with a debit card. Done! I thanked them both and left. The large Polar Pop was huge. It thankfully fit in my car's cup holder. I loved my cream soda. I wish that the place didn't use styrofoam, though. I believe that the medium is a plastic cup. How odd! I need to add more ice next time. I felt that my drink wasn't cold enough. My drinks were yummy. The strawberry Bang is so good. I want another one or many. I look forward to returning here. For some reason, there are now two Circle K stores in this vicinity that I love. The drink selection is amazing here. Why can't other stores like these ones? I will be back. (487)

I have driven by this Circle K for many years and never thought about visiting it. On Wednesday…read morenight, while I was driving home from Stouffville, I decided that it was time to check it out. The convenience store is a part of an Esso gas station. It has a car wash. It's on the northwest corner of McCowan Road and Bur Oak Avenue, across from Shoppers Drug Mart. I didn't have a problem finding a parking spot in front of the store. I backed into a spot fairly close to the main entrance. I walked in. There is a small Tim Hortons inside. There is also limited seating. A young couple was sipping hot drinks at a table. This store has a nice selection of candy. It's both good and evil. The beverage selection is pretty good. Although it didn't have some new Coke products that I had located at another Circle K, the variety of Bubly flavours got me. I decided to get cans of mango and watermelon. There was a sale going on. Rather than getting a case of each flavour at a grocery store without knowing whether I'd like the taste, I thought that I'd give each can a try. The man at the counter was okay. He said hi, but wasn't talkative. I feel like I am the oddball customer who like friendly small talk in comparison. I tapped my PC Optimum barcode off my phone. I then tapped to pay with my debit card. Done! I thanked the man. He nodded. I walked away with my goodies. I have had both Bubly varieties. I love them. I'm now good committing to cases of watermelon and mango. I'm glad that I finally visited this store. I'd return when I'm in the area. (57)

I remembered this store on the northeast corner of Kennedy Road and Finch Avenue. I had never been there. It was time to pay it a visit. I drove down Kennedy Road after having seen my dentist. I made a left-hand turn into the Esso station. All parking spots in front of Circle K were occupied, except for the spot for those with an accessibility parking pass. Instead, I pulled off to the side, closest to the gas station sign on Finch Avenue. I then walked over. This store is large. It has a lot of products to absorb. I saw Atypique non-alcoholic cocktails. I can see myself cracking one open as I start a road trip because I want to feel fancy... haha! Tim Hortons is at the back when you first walk in and stare ahead. To the right of it are the Polar Pop and Froster machines. The payment area is on the left. This store was doing steady business, which was nice to see. I got AriZona teas. I like that there was fruit punch and mango. I typically get green tea and watermelon. I welcomed the change. I also needed peanuts. I found them where you enter the lineup to pay for your items. The man at the counter was friendly and he anticipated that I had coupons. "Ah, Rock, Paper, and Scissors (game) is back!" he said. "Yes, I'm happy!" I exclaimed with perhaps too much enthusiasm. He asked me if I needed a bag. I was okay saving one and carrying my stuff to my car. I scanned my coupon barcodes. I then scanned my PC Optimum barcode and paid with my debit card. He thanked me and wished me a great day. I reciprocated. It's nice that my fridge looks like a mini Circle K store again. I can't wait to try the mango drink later on today. I like this store equally as much as the one on Steeles Avenue East, across from Walmart. Distance-wise, they are pretty close to being equidistant from my home. I can't go wrong either way. As an American visiting town for an event nearby, I wanted to stop in here to see what they had in…read moretheir bakery section that I could grab for a quick breakfast (muffin, donut, bagel, etc). Sadly, when I walked in I realized that all of their baked goods were prepacked and it didn't look like they baked anything in house. Since I was already here, I thought I would wander around. They had some interesting things that I couldn't find in the States, such as Fruit Loops cereal that had less sugar; soda that didn't have corn syrup; and various brands of cookies and chips that I had never heard of. Chocolate covered digestives are hard to find where I live too, but there were multiple brands here. All in all, it was a nice store. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Since I didn't buy any produce, meat or frozen I can't really provide much insight on how this store compares to other grocery stores. And since all prices were in Canadian dollars, my American dollars mind doesn't really know if the prices were good or not. But I am glad I stopped in. Now, where to find a donut...
