I've never been so disappointed with my dentis before as I was with this dentist. I only went to her because her office is so close to my job and a coworker told me she went to this dentist before...well, 1st, before I went to the office, to save time, I called and spoke with the receptionist and completed all the necessary paperwork online so when I got to the office, I only had to show ID, and I'd be seen on time and I'd go on to my next appointment, but once I got to the office, (on time), I had to wait for if not longer, close to 30 minutes in the guest waiting area and once I went to the operating/service area in the back, I had to wait for another 30minutes for the doctor like I didn't have anything better to do with my previous time. While waiting, I told one of the hygienists, if I should reschedule as i've already been waiting for longer than 1hour for the Dr., very nicely, she stated, I'll go get the doctor for you and she did...once the Doctor showed up, she said hello, but no apologies for making me wait for over 1 hour, then started to ask all the usual questions, when was the last time you saw dentist, who's your dentist and such and she recommended a full mouth debridement and when I asked why she told me to whiten my teeth and not to worry I'll be happy with the results, but by that time, I was almost late for my Primary physician doctors appointment so I told the dentist I'd have to come back, rescheduled and left for my doctors appointment. When I came back the following day, she did what she called a full mouth debridement in 10 minutes and handed me a mirror. I didn't see much of any difference from when I brush my teeth every morning, but I didn't say anything because I didn't think she was finished, then she asked how I liked it, I said it was ok,.but didn't see much of any diff. She suggested bleaching my teeth, I told her that I didn't want to bleach my teeth, I've always done my yearly regular cleaning and they've all spent a little bit more time to do just the regular cleaning and by the time I finished, I'd notice a difference with my teeth and feel much cleaner in my mouth and I'd expect a bit more for a full mouth debridement. She didn't even polish my teeth fully for God's sake. she went on to recommend rescheduling for bleaching my teeth and other crap. She also sprayed water on both sides of my hair and didn't have courtesy enough to say sorry. What a Moran? I was so disappointed, I just told her I'd see somebody at the front desk about rescheduling and left her office. She's a typical Nigerian that only thinks about profit before her patients. All she was talking about the entire 10 minutes was product pushing. I don't even have a messed up teeth. I drink coffee maybe 2days out of the week and some sweets here and there. I'd never go back to her again. I Hope she reads this review and perhaps she'll improve her services for her future clients. I'm just sharing my set of horrible experience with Dr. Adenike Gbenle as a heads up, but I don't want anyone to feel discouraged by my review as she may not treat everyone the same...be careful not to fall for her product pushing though...she only cares about her money...sad :-( read more
