I was recommended Biologique Recheche by an online group for people of color interested in skincare. After much research and deliberation, I found Elan Skin Spa. I have been three times, one to purchase product after a quick and accurate diagnosis by Firoze and the other times for a facial. A call with the amazingly friendly and helpful Robert directed me to the right location. And what a location! Beautiful quaint village style shops lined the street and the spa is in the corner. I went to get two facials. However, this is not just any facial, with Firoze's expert hands I received the best facial and I saw results immediately. My face was dull and full of hyperpigmentation marks and problem area. Firoze used the remodelling face bioelectric machine on me and it worked wonders. The high frequency thermal pulsing current gently went over my face to make it easier for the products to permeate my skin and sink deep into my pores. Firoze was gentle, intuitive and soothing with her touch and pleasant banter. She put me at ease both times I went. I cannot recommend the spa enough. The products are simply the best and if you can you can also get her natural beauty secrets in her book that she sells in the store. This is a lovely and beautiful spa. I definitely want to return there for another facial and service.

I also paid $108+ $20 tip & they charged me a service fee because I used my Debjt Card. The Vibe is decent .. I thought once they told me it was $108 over the phone that I would be getting what I paid for .. maybe like spa treatment walk in get offered a bottle of water maybe even a sitting area. But no that was not included in the $108 fee . The esthetician who did my wax ,was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable on the community. She also made me feel very comfortable. But the service I paid for was not met. I still have several strands of hair which at this point is sad. They also claim they are using a special gelled wax to prevent pain. They used a 10 minute topical that is a waste of time because I still felt the pain of the hair being removed from my skin! It was also a weird experience she asked me to go on my knees to complete my wax .. I've been getting waxed about 15 years now and never had I got on my knees .. so I really didn't understand the method but hey!! The more areas the better!! But yeah no I still have hair in that area too lol.. I truly had high hopes, even after the topical and it was not painless .. and not receiving like a 5 start treatment for a $108 purchase . I just knew when I got home it would feel like butter but no I'm left with hair and tons of powder . I even had wax still attached to my skin. I guess if you like wasting money this is a great place. But unfortunately I will not be returning.
