i cant say enough good things about dr leggiero, dr pietka, and the entire practice. i wish there…read morewas space to leave a longer review so i could detail all the ways they have gone above and beyond. i also love that its a family practice so myself, my husband, and my kids can all see the same docs. it took me a long time to find a dr that im happy with but lakeview medical has definitely exceeded my expectations. my appts are never rushed and they really get to know their patients, never judgemental, and always spot on with diagnoses and treatment. i will be repeating this review for the other drs at this practice. five stars for the physicians assistant, nurses, and office staff as well.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR OWN LIFE!!!!! I have been a lifelong patient here at Lakeview…read moremedical. Recently, they have been bought out by an LLC And have lost any value they hold for their patients. I have had to wait THREE days to get an inhaler and was only taken seriously when a man had to call for me. I have had two asthma attacks since my first request for an inhaler and very well could have lost my life if we did not have a spare from my brother at home. Jamie Pietka is a phenomenal doctor and Lakeview medical used to be a phenomenal office but unfortunately the new owner Has dug this place an early grave. If you are a woman DO NOT go here. If you value you or your loved ones lives, do not send them here. If you are currently a patient of what once was Lakeview Medical Center, I highly recommend you go to the office as soon as possible and get access to your medical charts before they are deleted like mine were! I had a wonderful experience with Lakeview medical, but unfortunately that experience is over and I have to do my part and warning others.

I have read some negative reviews of this practice which almost all focus on scheduling, billing,…read morewait times, and other office related matters that patients have found annoying. I haven't experienced these issues to any greater extent than any other medical practice. Any issue of such a nature that anyone could have pales in comparison to what should be the number one priority - competence and diligence of the doctors. All the doctors I have seen over the many years at this practice have been excellent. I believe Dr. Peters saved my life. After seeing I didn't take any follow-up action (which means she was personally keeping track of me) on inconclusive results on a scan, Dr. Peters called me personally and insisted I go for a biopsy. It was cancer and delaying treatment further could have been catastrophic. The doctor I ask for most often is Dr. Friedman. He is attuned to my preference to avoid meds and helps me focus on preventative care and other solutions. I have heard stories of doctors outside this practice who insist that only a single medical concern be addressed at a visit. Dr. Friedman will address as many unrelated concerns as I bring up at a single visit. Getting a proper diagnosis can be the most critical aspect in addressing a medical issue. Dr. Miccio's diagnostic skills are quite remarkable and the greatest asset of the practice. Countless times over the years he has zeroed in on the cause for some issue that other doctors had neglected to think of. For years my son had a recurring open sore on his cheek in the exact spot where, when he was a baby, a child bit him. For years other doctors said that was a coincidence and tried all kinds of ineffective treatments. I finally saw Dr. Miccio who immediately suspected it was not a coincidence and had the sore tested. It was herpes from the bite. The treatment he then prescribed was astoundingly effective. When weighing the positives and negatives of one practice over another, I think it's imperative to focus on what's really important for one's health instead of minor annoyances due to office related issues that, in my experience, are common to most practices.

This is easily the worse doctors office in New Jersey. They are never on top of anything. Forget to…read moresend scripts, make you come in for any question for a doctor. They are rude. I can go on and on. I been there for 10 years and the worse experience. They are why I hate dealing health care they are the reason i did not stay on top of things.
