Even when you express concerns about radiation exposure on your head they do not listen, and they argue that the radiation is minimal, and X-Rays are required every 2 years. Why would anyone want to risk being radiated in their head and mouth every 2 years as a preventive measure? This is only because the X-Rays are covered by the insurance and they take every opportunity they get to charge insurance companies for treatment that is not necessary. Yesterday my daughter was expressly denied the cleaning service by one of the doctors in the Novi office if we did not agree to have the X-Rays taken. To avoid embarrassment for her, I agreed to have the X-Rays taken and have my insurance being billed for it, but we will never come back for cleaning or for any other procedure. They have just lost 3 clients.
