I have been in quite a few times, and I must say they do a good job. I haven't seem them look down on anyone using an older or less powerful device, even though I don't think Cloud-E carries many of them. Their juice selection is much smaller than some, but it's VERY well thought out. Same with their devices/tanks/drippers. Not a huge selection, but some that are very affordable (while still being quality) and some that are definitely higher end (but worth it). They have a very nice lounge area setup, and are one of my top 3 in Des Moines for friendly employees. I would give them 5 stars, but sadly their parking kind of sucks. I know that isn't the shops fault necessarily, but still. This shop seems to support/sponsor a lot of vape comps, so if you hear they are having one, it will be PACKED, fair warning.

The…read morecustomer service was lack-luster to say the least. when purchasing a refill for juice, I handed the man my punch card and knowing the current health crisis I know human contact is limited , but he did NOT hand me back my punch card... most likely set it randomly on his very messy counter instead of politely handing it back to me (which I might add is easy to do without touching ones' hand) It Would've cost them nothing to fix the problem and replace the card, but he made no attempt. I work solely in customer service and it would be frowned on, the way they treat customers. I will NOT be back!

CIV was recommended to me to answer questions and to buy E-Liquid from so I stopped in. I told the guy up front that I was a super beginner and had absolutely no idea what I was doing and he was super patient and nice and let me sample out several types of liquid before I found the right one. The selection of vape juice is pretty overwhelming so its nice you can sample it before you buy it! This time, I was going in to buy brand new of everything since my cousin took back his vape, and the guy again was super helpful and asked my budget and what I was looking for. I told him my preferences and what I liked and he nailed it! They unfortunately do not carry my favorite E-Liquid anymore but he did a fantastic job of finding me a flavor that is super comparable and I even like it a bit better too! The only downside for CIV is both locations are in sketchy parts of town but I definitely recommend stopping here.

On top of that I've been craving the opportunity to sit down for a decent smoke in a warm place. Today, I had just just enough time for a smoke and maybe getting some admin work done. Found this place online and asked a co-worker to drop me off and pick me up later. Luckily I asked my co-worker to wait until I could take a look inside to see if there was some place to sit (based on the pictures I saw online there appeared to be a lounge area). As soon as I got out of the car I noticed that they had a separate entrance for members. I still walked in to see if there was a place to sit on the other side. As I walked in I saw a high top table close to the register and asked the guy behind the counter if I could sit at that table if I bought a cigar. The guy flat out just said no. Bro, it's not like you even had people in there trying to buy sticks! The nicest thing I could get out my mouth was "forget it then." Guess who has friends who enjoy cigars. Guess where those guys will be again in a few weeks. Guess where none of those guys will be spending any money.
