The security is tight but safety is important. If you're having someone come with you like a significant other or friend I'd recommend that they bring their ID like a drivers license for security reasons. The wait was short less then 10 minutes and that staff was really friendly. They offered to test for STDs and HIV which is great because most doctors I've been to I've had to ask. They are really trans inclusive if that's important to you. They ask what pronouns you use. When I went there were protesters outside on the street so while it's not the clinic fault I would recommend coming in a car so you can just keep the windows closed.

I also asked for testing and I was told no several times because they felt it was unnecessary. They also mess up my prescriptions every single time as well. It's really so disrespectful how they treat patients. It is truly upsetting and disruptive to any patient's life especially when it is an extremely important form of health care. It is frustrating, exhausting, and upsetting. Even more so when there is an issue every single time.

The nurse checked-in with me multiple times, and I felt extremely comfortable right off the bat. She was also willing to answer questions without making me feel rushed - which can be difficult to do in such a busy office! Staff is so considerate and really takes the time to explain exactly what to expect for each procedure. They are very clear and informative, while also being personal and caring. Since I have had contact with two nurses, my doctor, a nurse practitioner, an ultrasound tech and the front desk/administrative staff, I feel I have interacted with enough staff to promise you, you are in great hands here! Even over the phone, I never feel rushed - they are willing to do whatever it takes to not only put you at ease and answer questions, but to do whatever is necessary for your health. The environment is extremely clean and I have never waited more than about 10 minutes. The only reason I did not rate a full 5 stars is because it is difficult to get an appointment and, in my experience, was once told the schedule wasn't "out yet" for the next month. The schedule, once "out," seems to fill very quickly (but I hear this is the case with most OBGYNs anyway). I also asked for a copy of test results, specifically not to be mailed and I would instead pick it up, but it was mailed anyway, although they agreed to call me for pick-up. They do not hand you your results/information requested right away and I had to wait for my request to be processed which was a little frustrating as someone who likes to keep on top of all my own medical documents. These are small complaints in comparison to the excellent level of care - 100% recommend them to anyone!

HORRENDOUS FRONT OFFICE! This is a review of her office and…read morereceptionist as well as thoughts about the doctor. Today, I called the office to see if I could get an appointment for my daughter who is experiencing a lot of discomfort and cramping and had been in this condition for about a week. My regular doctor in CT was on vacation and the receptionist there, after listening to what the problem was, recommended a doctor in Bronxville that she uses personally. I called and spoke to the receptionist, explained fully that my daughter had a hormone inplant in her arm for over a year with no issue, however, that in the past week, had been in discomfort and that before we get her back to school, I wanted to have her see the doctor to rule anything alarming. After a big wait time, I was informed that they wanted to speak with my daughter before confirming an appointment as she is over 18. Okay, I get that, however, I needed to know if there was a chance to come in and get seen so that my daughter doesn't get her hopes up and then doesn't get to see anyone. I was told to hold on while they conferred with the doctor. I wait on hold and the receptionist says, ' Dr. K doesn't specialize in that, you'll have to call the hospital and they can give you a list of doctors to try'. WHAT?! Who said anything about a hospital? When I said as much to the receptionist, she repeated what she stated. Trying to give her the benefit of the doubt, I asked if there was a miscommunication - my daughter is in pain, not a hospital, I need to know if there's a way to see the doctor? She didn't respond. I can't believe that a doctor would refuse a patient in pain AND refer the caller to a hospital. SOMETHING wasn't communicated to the doctor, or is that doctor so unconcerned? I was stunned. I thanked her (for nothing) and then hung up. Reading the reviews on the doctor herself, perhaps it was a sign to stay away. I'm going to save you the trouble of speaking with an inept front desk. I will never recommend this office and I'm going to tell my regular doctor's receptionist how awful this went!
