Dorian Jimenez, DPM - Bunion surgery on right foot. Still in recovery mode.

Foot Monroe Georgia…read more I saw Dr. Jimenez since my first bunion surgery back in March 2025. My decision to do the bunion surgery started 3 years ago. I was dealing with bunion pain for my two feet every time I stand. I was using invasive products such as Bunion Corrector to relieve the pain and nothing work. So I decided to perform the bunion surgery and found Dr Jimenez practicing at Ankle and Foot in Monroe Georgia. I started my first bunion surgery on my right foot in March 2025. Dr Jimenez was attentive and clear about the surgery and the pain afterward, especially the first two weeks. He was very helpful and gives clear instructions on what to do after the surgery to keep the big toe bones align. For the first month my right foot was swollen and the skins were peeling off. Dr Jimenez confirmed, it was normal. Unfortunately toward the third month, there's a sign in the xray that showed misalignment. I eventually have to step into a second surgery for the same right foot to do revision bunion surgery. Dr. Jimenez walked me through every step of the process and answered all of my questions with patience and clarity. I am still in the recovery state and looking forward to full recovery by October 2025. Overall, the entire staff at his office was professional and courteous. Appointments ran on time, and communication was excellent. I highly recommend Dr. Jimenez to anyone looking for an orthopedic specialist who truly cares about their patients.

I have been seeing Emily for a year or more at FISH medical. I got health insurance and chose to continue seeing her through Piedmont because I love Emily as a provider, and trust her completely. I have a very hard time trusting medical providers. I called at the beginning of September 2025 to make an appointment with Emily. I was given two dates as options, one was October 30, and the other was November 13. I told the girl scheduling I needed the November 13th appointment because I was going to be out of town on the 30th of October. Well the girl scheduled the appointment for October 30th anyway, even after verbally telling me she was scheduling it for the 13th of November. I called multiple times to address this prior to Oct. 30th, and NEVER received a phone call back. I then call today November 13 and was told by the first person I would have to wait until January to be seen. Shocking, at 2pm the manager was "no longer in office", so I had to leave a message for her. Around an hour later the scheduling person called me back and offered a phone visit. While I was in the middle of explaining that I had been to the ER and needed an in person visit, the person on the other end of the phone SLAMMED the phone down hanging up on me. When I called back I did actually speak with a nice older sounding lady, who was the first person who was actually professional and offered some sort of assistance. She got it so I can still go for an appointment today, but the hoops I had to jump through for the appointment make me not even want to go to the office. I will only be going because I trust Emily. I will be making her aware when I go in of how I have been treated by the staff. I have worked in the healthcare field as a scheduler for a busy Orthopedic Surgeon for 16 years. I know how medical offices should be ran, and the way your front staff treats patients can make or break a medical facility. Educating your staff on proper patient management is a number one way to keep your patients happy and coming back.

I had to hobble my pregnant self, in the middle of 2020 Covid, to the nearest and most readily available foot doctor in the area. Of course it was Dr. Phelps's office and now I know why. For starters, he has terrible bedside manner. Not understanding, very dismissive. The man told me two of my toes weren't moving because it was "in my mind" and that where I hurt my foot wouldn't cause that. Well I have news for him, those two toes on the end of my foot still don't bend with the rest of my toes. He talked to me like I was an idiot. I'm a 32 year old mother of 3 with advanced degrees. I am most assuredly not an idiot. Never mind it was very early into Covid, and I was very pregnant. Some sympathy and kindness would have been nice. The office staff were all very friendly; I will give them that. Well now here we are THREE YEARS LATER and I find out I've been sent to collections for a bill I paid IN FULL THREE YEARS AGO. I have the proof for the exact amount on my checking account. Unbelievable. So now I get to deal with the collections agency and dispute this for my credit record and I paid it when we received the bill THREE YEARS AGO. The kicker is I can't even call their office today to let them know how mad I am because they close at 1p for the day Absolutely do not ever go to this office. I see a recent claim on Google that they apparently hand out gift cards for good reviews, so don't believe the ones you see.

This hospital is a scam! I went there and was being treated for a possible stroke. Everything seem…read morefine until I was on my way to CT for possible bleed. Mind u I have cancer and a clotting disorder. The nurse kept asking me if I wanted to leave my purse in the room and I told her no because my daughter hadn't gotten back yet. I thought that was strange but I was sick I didn't have time to focus on that. On the way back I get in the room a tech is reconnecting me and this nurse comes in behind her NOT making herself known as to who she was or anything and then she went behind the bed and proceeded to go through my pocketbook without my promission or allowing me to see or know what she was looking for. I had nothing in the bag because the hospital had security and they went through everything in there because it beeped. And they found nothing before I was ever seen. She screamed saying WHAT IS THIS and showing me some nasty sarange with blood in it and a tube of blood. I was like okkkkk. I don't know what ur talking about they were working on me drawing blood and getting me hooked up my bed was a mess. And a tech was moving things around to clear the bed when she had me sit in a chair sooooo. She put my things in a belongings bag and put stuff behind the bed when she was doing stuff. There were also vomit bags back there that fell over in there and a cup mind u. I wouldn't have them in my purse myself soooo I was so confused and mind u sick. She proceeded to get security for what I have no idea. He was confused and even told her its a hospital stuff falls and gets everywhere. She is clearly sick and ur making a scene. Another nurse asked him if they should call 911 to get me out the hospital! Like what! I was in tears and confused and barely could stand. I was asking to speak to a doctor or charge nurse and 25mins pass and no one ever came. The guard asked what I wanted to do and I said leave. He asked them to get me a wheelchair nd they didn't. He got it for me and helped me into the chair and he and another officer helped me into the car. My daughter couldn't believe that they were doing what they were doing! So just know the 4 stars on Google is coming from people who know staff and staff. But u should take heed to the 1 stars and this will save ur life and ones u love. And keep y from having someone go through ur things and then ur treated like the worst person even about to call 911 to get u out and ur sick. They tried to get a vein for about 3 hours and finally sent in Dwayne with a vein finder. Absolute flop. He and Pam discussed it vibrating when he finally got the IV in. Waited probably another hour + to get CT scan. Vein blew immediately. I left which is the second time I did this (a whole bunch of issues in July 2025 - kept me overnight and then all day and never did the CT Scan). I also never got my medication which they blame on the doctor. And no point in filing a complaint (which I made last year) because they cover their actions. Wish there were an option for negative rating. The nurses here are the worst and could care less. July 2023 my husband had severe pain. They ran bloodwork and sent us home. We came back the next day and his numbers were off the chart. Took hours but they finally sent us to Athens. In this case, the nurse was so rude, I asked her not to come back in the room. Do not trust this hospital and we are ever going back. How can you not find a vein for hours and when I leave say oh sorry, we can try again? Absolutely not and if you value life, stay away. Several staff members commented they go to Athens instead. Not even surprised by this.
