If you are staying at the RV park you can use the area to fish even if you don't have a boat. The area is so nice because it is a combination of wild area and water. The restrooms are also nice and clean. The bathroom areas are all private. Each bathroom has a shower also. It was nice peaceful and quiet. We did get to see some gators and husband caught some fish. The park is conveniently located just a few miles from the USS Alabama ship and museum. If you want to go somewhere a little more upscale Fairhope is only an about a 20 minute drive. It is outside of town, but within minutes you have grocery and retail shopping.

Nicely done. The bathhouse facilities were also just as spotless. They have a well-appointed little store as well on site but its only minutes away from everything you could possibly need. Its very peaceful and quiet. The staff here were VERY helpful and gracious. The entire place was just neat as a pin. Ill be recommending this RV Resort to everyone I know!!

You sign a waiver and you have to weigh between 70 to 250 pounds for the zip line. Our two tour guides Jaeda and Spencer were amazing. As someone who's never zip lined before, they were comforting and patient. I think this zip line tour was good for beginners and kids. I think there were 10(?) zip lines that were approx 300 feet each. I'd prefer a longer one next time!

Marlene and Jimmy, the park managers were welcoming, helpful and just really nice folks. There are 3 washers and 3 dryers, a bit expensive at 1.75 each but they were good sized. We used the showers once (last day of stay), they were functional with good pressure and hot water, but while clean, they could definitely use some updating. Great little park for a couple of nights or a couple of weeks. It's also worth noting that the campground wifi is impressively fast - something that is very uncommon. Tips for other Campers: If you go, be sure to take Dover Street NOT Jasper (GPS will direct you to Jasper which is more of a lane than a street and very tight). Unfortunately, several things made the experience less than ideal. The WiFi was extremely slow to almost nonexistent, which made it difficult to get anything done online. The bathrooms were locked during our stay, and the office closed before 4 PM with no staff visible on site, so it was hard to get assistance if needed. The campground seemed to function more like a long-term work camp than a typical overnight RV stop. There were quite a few older RVs that appeared to be permanent residents. We also noticed a lot of feral cats around the property, and several residents were driving through the campground pretty fast, which made it feel a bit unsafe for walking around. It worked for a quick overnight stop, but based on our experience we probably wouldn't choose to stay here again.

It's so beautiful and relaxing here. Just like the pics. Idk why I'm seeing a few bad reviews. Because this is our happy place tbh. The pool is so nice and always feels perfect temp. Never cold. You can watch movies in the pool house or use their kitchen and bbq equipment. We borrowed their bigger grill because we had a small one. They have games to play in the pool house and u can watch a movie on the big screen next to the pool. They have a workout room if you'd like. A dog park for your fur babies. A park for the kiddos. They also have a lot across the street to walk down to the bay and sit in lounge chairs to see the water and stars. Or sit ag picnic tables. They have picnic tables at every rv lot now as well. It's perfect. It's the best rv park I've ever seen. That's for sure. Plus it's RIGHT next to the beaches. U turn right and go over the bridge and you're on dauphin island. U can take the ferry across to gulf shores as well. You have fort Gaines here and fort Morgan across the ferry. Yes. Wifi has worked for us the whole time we've been here.. but we also always bring an extra wifi box. The people are always so nice here You can buy propane or ice if u run out. I really don't know what else to say other than it's awesome. Yes the prices went up some since the last time we were here. But the prices of everything has went up due to the economy right now. It's still much cheaper than anywhere else we've stayed. I mean we paid $1200 to stay at Austin lake cabin for a week, $800 for Kalahari water park resort for just 3 days and $800 for here for two weeks. Or u can do a month for $600. Idk. I'm gonna go relax by the pool as I type this. It's so relaxing and calm here.
