When we first arrived at Unique Lee Yours we thought well, we might not be in a typical stitch store. And we couldn't have been more right. Lee, the owner, has created a wonderful, meandering space full of inspiration - and the patterns, fabric and floss to accomplish them. We each found something to create and also found the other tools needed for creation - scissors, hoops needles and more. Lee's shop is delightful and if you happen to be a Claudia Dutcher fan, she has many of the table topper patterns and more importantly the fabric which is becoming rare.

"sorry I didn't text you on my way back but I left my phone behind like a dummy".....?!@$% Finally, she would be there on Thurs (Aug 4) at 9am, I'm there, placed is closed as usual, unable to leave any voice mail, so I text her:"where are you" answer: "I'll be right there. I apologize I don't know what happened to the time" Within two minutes a guy from the business next door comes out with my piece, unwrapped of course, with my refund in cash (+$2).....she couldn't even come to the store herself for godsakes. I don't know how this lady Larissa stays in business, wouldn't have given it even one star but had to put something down to continue. I can't say anything about her work because there was none. My advice, don't bother with this place.

Let me start by clarifying the term "gallery" in the title; sure it has overly-high priced, tacky prints around the floor, but does that make it a "gallery?" I think not... either that or we have very different ideas of what a gallery is. Unfortunately many of the framing samples are located behind the counter, so a customer can't actually wander around and choose samples to tinker with. The matting options and colors were kept behind the desk as well, again making the decision process more difficult. The man working there wasn't rude, but wasn't exactly helpful either. They do have some unique options for frames though, which was nice. My other complaint is that there was a two week waiting period before I could pick up my order. Typically I don't mind waiting for a good product, but when the pick up date rolled around, I called the store and my order still wasn't ready. Ugh! I may end up taking other pieces here to get framed in the future, but not because I want to (more because of the lack of other options). Am I satisfied with the results? Sure, but I'm still going to search for something better.

Picked another since I paid him cash up front (my mistake). Called a couple weeks later to see if it was ready. Told it would be ready "next week". Went in a couple weeks after that and it was ready to pick up - NO PHONE CALL AGAIN from him. Obviously he has NO idea of how to run a business. I won't ever go back.

I could go into every detail but the results are that the job was delayed and delayed while the costs escalated beyond the price of $125.00 per hour for the team which we were quoted. The acrylic pour for the kitchen counter is opposite of what I wanted and bothers me to look at it every day. Many things were left incomplete and we completed them or will be completing them. My advice is to get a real written estimate complete with time frame and listing of jobs to be completed. Gage is a talented guy however we were left feeling abandoned. I have no ulterior motive but to encourage people to not leave themselves open, tie up the contract.

I called customer service regarding the broken glass bead, and the interaction with a representative named Lydia was awful. When I tried to explain the situation, she told me she was confused about what I was saying. I patiently broke it down and explained it more clearly, only for her to act even more confused about why I was explaining it to her. Instead of trying to help, she became short, incredibly rude, and pretty much hung up on me at the end of the call. I expected much better quality and service from this company.
