The offer includes pretty much all the dishes that they have on the menu. There is a nice large garden outside which is great during the summer for a bit of al fresco dinning. They can comfortably accommodate large groups as my sister had her birthday lunch here which was for 14 people. Also the staff are great with kids and make a real fuss of them. The service is brilliant and the staff can't do enough to make sure you have an enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend here.

Just had a take away rather than sit in meal and the food was generous, fresh, good quality and full of flavour. Chicken, beef, prawns and the oh so crispy chicken wings. I've been raving about the place for a while so when I saw an award on the wall saying chef of the year I was pleased but not surprised. The struggle each time is whether to try another new sounding original creation from the chef or one of my old favourites. The South Indian garlic chilli chicken is so good that it's a challenge to have something else. The thing that surprises me is how it isn't full every night. That's the only downfall, occasionally the lack of people can make a bit of a lack of atmosphere. But the lovely guys do make up for it. One night the chef even made a special fish to recreate something one of the party had enjoyed in India. Oh and as a parting shot, the naan bread is the best ever! The super-trick is to order them one at a time and keep them coming, so they are always hot!

The only issue we had was the advertising of 10.95 for pretty much a full course style meal for four people. The bread and rice they sort of stiffed us out on, but it was still unbelievably cheap for not being able to give us 4 orders of rice and bread and got only 2 instead. The food was well spiced and the environment was very pleasant. Located on Highbridge st, it has a nice pretty view and down the street from the Olympics so I hope these guys get a lot of good business.

I like the interiors - it feels authentically French art-deco, but isn't overdone. We had brithday cake waiting for us at home so we decided to have two courses. To start I had Prawn Gratinée. There was lots of garlicy tomato sauce with the large prawns. It was alright. I found the prawns to be a bit bland and chewy as if they had been overcooked but not given enough time to take on the sauce's flavour. I also wish it came with some bread because the sauce was very tasty and needed mopping up with something. My husband had the Chicken Liver Pâté with brioche (this became my source of mopping bread). It was a generous portion nicely presented in a little preserve jar. He seemed very happy with it and I enjoyed the bit I tasted. For the main course my husband had the Lamb Shank special. Succulent and fell of the bone. It was sat on a bed of mashed potatoes which I think is one of the best accompaniments for such a meat. I was really in the mood for seafood so I ordered the Seabass. Two large fillets arrived with a sweet beurre blanc sauce. I think it is a main that definitely needs sides so ordered some beans and fries. They were what you'd expect them to be. It's a restaurant that's been in the centre of town for years and years. I wish I'd gone sooner and I'll definitely go back some time.

This place is small and nice inside, and I'm glad I didn't stop to the exterior appearances to decide whether to enter or not. The menu offers a generous selection of dishes, some of them are part of the Malaysian culture. I went for some classic, though I regret having not picked some other specialties served to the tables close to us. Food is generally OK; I thought there were an excessive note of salt, which seems more an impression than anything else. The only negative, but not to class as a three star, is the fact my drink was brought sheaf poured in the glass. I'd like them to be served as they are, or eventually opened and poured in front of me. Price wise, this place is a great value so will definitely come back.

Some excellent starters are on offer many if not all of them bearing the mark of individual attention (very much a rarity these days). Among the mains, I would single out the delicious soft-shelled crab, which came on a bed of crisp ginger and spring onion which most chefs would envy; some of the Chinese dishes (for example, beef w ginger and spring onion); the rendang (!); and any of the noodle dishes (we have tried four, and all four were well above average). We have eaten here four times now in the past month or so, always at lunchtime, sometimes Wednesdays, sometimes Sunday. The quality and value of the food compares well with what is served in London.
