One day one of my Graber honeycomb shades was not properly raising or lowering as it should. I connected with Alison who confirmed that, yes, they service Graber products. Alison also provided me with a very reasonable estimate to restring the shade, if necessary, at the same time. I then couldn't figure out how to remove the shade from its brackets. Do you have shade blues? I had two Duette Honeycomb Applause LiteRise shades that were not working. One had top-down, bottom-up functionality but only for the top third of the window, and the second did not have any bottom-up functionality. Both were fixed by the next day! During COVID I had two honeycomb blinds that needed repair, one due to neglect from the previous homeowner, and one due to my damn cats chewing the internal cord and external pull cord. I spoke to Allison over the phone and via email. She was very pleasant and walked me through the process on how the blinds would be repaired and how pricing works. The repair for both blinds (internal cords and new external pull cords) was $80. Some internal components were upgraded as well. The repair took 2 weeks as quoted. About a month later my cats struck again, chewing through the internal pull cord of one of the blinds. Technically I don't know which cat was the culprit, but they both looked damn guilty. (See photo...can you spot the guilty one?) When I returned to ShadeWoRX, Allison only charged me half ($20) for the repair due to the nature of the issue and that I was there less than a month ago. In fact, they have a wall with photos of customer's cats and the cost of damage each furry friend caused. LOL! Thank you Allison and team, you have all my future business. Recently, my Levolar blind (the dual-direction cellular type) stopped working properly. I couldn't lift it from the bottom and the wires were pooling at the top instead of automatically drawing in. I looked at youtube videos to see if I could resolve this myself and they looked like such a PITA that I decided to reach out to the professionals. I popped the blind out and took it over to ShadewoRx. They were hands down AWESOME! Not only did they get it fixed in less than 5 minutes, they gave some long-term recommendations, and were also incredibly friendly. Like out-of-their-way-we-really-care friendly. They were obviously knowledgeable about the product and noticed that my new-ish model incorporated some older and new technologies in terms of the quality of wire (way better) some of the metal components (previously plastic), and also got rid of some unnecessary parts -- it works great now. I was so impressed that they've gained a customer for life (since all of my blinds are the same model) and I already recommended them to my partner who has the same blinds, too. Time for my annual lone Yelp review! This one was eeeeeeasy. As a newly minted solo homeowner (I've owned homes, with another, in the past) you're always discovering neat, fun, inconvenient things that need attention. My new place has windows. A lot of windows. There are a variety of blinds and blind styles throughout, one of which is the kind that opens from both the top or bottom, depending on what you want. Well, in the master bedroom on one wall, one of the blinds has drawstrings that allow you to draw the blind up or pull it down. COOL, huh? Yeah, until you realize that the cords that compose the drawstrings are attached/bundled by this janky little connector that seemingly lets loose of one or more of them at the time of its choosing. I lost one, to the point where it got sucked up into the opening at the top of the blind fixture. Some trips around YouTube later I discover that you CAN take the assembly off and reconstruct it yourself. Super. Probably a couple hours worth of work there. A few calls later and I discovered Shadeworx. These guys are dedicated solely, as near as I can tell, to repair jobs such as mine. A phone call later and I was on my way down. Everyone there is friendly and knowledgeable. I learned a ton. I also learned that they're BUSY! They claimed to receive about 50 (that's fifty) sets of blinds EACH DAY. For my job, which was pretty straight-forward, they turned it around in about 8 business days. Actually... they improved on the original construction. The new connector is much more sturdy and a lot less prone to losing one or more of the drawstring cords. Finally... the cost was $40 total for the repair. Certainly better than the $100+ that a new set of blinds would have cost. I can't recommend these guys enough. read more

What an amazing experience!! After reaching too high to clean the top slat on my blinds, the string snapped and the whole contraption slid on an angle.
