I have gone to dozens of different electrologists over the years, but there were only a handful that I liked and would see regularly. I thought I was done with electrolysis, until over a year ago. My previous electrolysis had retired, and, now in my 50s, I was not happy about going through the pain (literally and figuratively) of finding an electrologist that I liked, or at least could tolerate. I chose Ginger's because I liked her website. I felt like I could trust her, and that she was experienced and knowledgeable, cared about her clients, and was a genuinely really nice person! And within the first 5 minutes of my first appointment with Ginger, I knew that everything I thought about her was true. Ginger is the best electrologist that I have ever gone to, and I've gone to many electrologists over the years. She is gentle, and extremely conscientious, and she is knowledgeable and professional and attentive and caring. But what makes her truly extraordinary is that she is also one of the nicest people I have every met. For anyone who is thinking about trying electrolysis, but has heard that it's painful is afraid and/or you don't know who to go to, there is nobody better than Ginger. You may have to wait a couple of weeks to get an appointment with her, but trust me, she's worth it.

I've been to this salon a few times, but my most recent experience was by far the worst I've ever…read morehad. I believe it was the owner herself who did my eyebrows. When I walked in, she looked as if she didn't want to be there, offering no greeting or smile, and had a demeanor similar to an angry school teacher. She pointed to the chair, and asked me in a brusque manner, "What do you want to do today?" I specifically told her that I wanted to clean up my eyebrows without thinning them out. Despite this, she proceeded to roughly remove the hairs, causing me a lot of pain and leaving me with uneven eyebrows. When I pointed out that one eyebrow was thinner than the other, she refused to take responsibility for her mistake, blamed my eyebrows, and simply walked away. To add insult to injury, after threading my eyebrows, she didn't even apply any gel or cream, which is the usual practice to soothe the skin. When I asked her for some, she rudely extended her arm out to me with the gel and told me to do it myself. To make matters worse, I had gone to the salon two days before my birthday, and now I have to celebrate with thin, uneven eyebrows and a couple of scars. I'm extremely unhappy with the service I received, and I won't be returning to the salon. I do want to mention that during a previous visit, another esthetician, a kind and patient woman from Bombay, did an excellent job on my eyebrows. However, based on my most recent experience with the owner, I cannot recommend this salon. If you're looking for someone who is gentle, patient, and follows instructions, I suggest you look elsewhere.

My experience with Dr. Fung during the filler injection was particularly unpleasant. I asked for numbing cream before the injection However, the cream was only applied for about five minutes before he rushed to start the injections. The numbing had clearly not taken effect, and the procedure was extremely painful. When I asked if we could pause for a moment because of the pain, he refused and continued injecting. It was extremely painful !! The entire process felt rushed and careless. After the treatment, I developed a small hard lump on my chin. It has now been five months and the lump is still there. I have had dermal filler treatments many times in the past and have never experienced anything like this before. This makes me seriously question the technique and professionalism of the doctor. I contacted the clinic about this issue about a month after the treatment, but they simply told me it was a "normal reaction" and did not provide any real explanation or solution. Spending over $4,000 and ending up with a long-lasting lump and almost no improvement is extremely frustrating. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this clinic!
