This fashion-forward women's clothing boutique boasts lines that I usually can only find online: Keepsake, For Love and Lemons, Wildfox, and Nightcap, just to name a few. I found a killer dress on huge sale, which I couldn't pass up, along with an awesome pair of high-waisted jeans that felt as comfy as pjs. If I lived in SGF, I could see my bank account slowly dwindling as a result of frequent visits to this gem. I easily could have left with more than just two items, but lucky for my wallet, I was limited to one carry-on bag so I couldn't take home too many scores. What American Eagle Springfield does well is slash this assumed idea. They're prompt, organized, knowledgeable, and helpful. I worked at American Eagle for roughly three years, from 2013-2016. Through this time, I've seen changes in staff and morale, but the one thing that always came first was helping the customer, which they still prioritize. This was my first job and one I'm very thankful for. Problems were handled with respect and understanding, and management really pushed me to be the best I could be. I transformed from a timid high school student to a motivated young woman. After visiting other AEs and shopping at the one that is closest to me in Oklahoma City, I wish all American Eagles were as customer oriented as Springfield's. As a customer, only remembered by a few staff members now, I was approached by someone who developed a conversation about what I was there for. It's pretty rare to find a smiling face with the genuine want to help. We were able to style an outfit together, and I even asked her opinion on a shirt I picked out. It was nice that she didn't automatically tell me it looked good, but asked me why I thought it didn't look good. After discussing how the shirt felt, she suggested a different type, which I ended up buying. It was really nice, and an experience I've seen myself conducting a million times before. It's good consistency, and caring. Their clothing changes once/twice a month so you can always find something new. They offer good discounts, including one for military personnel. Their clearance ranks are steals because every item was once full price. Overall, I haven't had a bad experience here as a customer. They definitely put other American Eagles to shame.
